I like it as non-ranked. think thats a good move.
I always found SWAT a good one to play when you just wanna have some fun with mates, so making it more of a 'social' option as the ysaid, is good in my eyes.

Swat unranked is the only way to have it really.
As soon as I played a SWAT ranked I was hit by cheaters badly :(

Unfortunatly though I was hit by cheaters quite severely too, seeing as it's coming back as an unranked game aswell might just make them think, "Oh its unranked nobody cares" or I really hope they'll go the other way and say "OMFG I can't get a level in this there's no point in modding." the latter would be best for me as I really love the SWAT gametype, probably one of the only gametypes that doesn't piss me off when I get bullshit in it.

:D I love SWAT, plus, now that it is unranked, it will mean you will get guests and stuff. Easy killtacs if you ask me :)
