COD4 FFA - Semi Final Groups

Please find details below for Semi Final of the MatchBox360 Call of Duty 4 FFA (all gamertags listed are correct as of 5:00am 29/2/08).

All games to be played Wednesday 5th March

Times:
GROUP A: 8:00pm
GROUP B: 9:00pm

Please read and understand the Call of Duty 4 FFA Rules (http://community.matchbox360.co.uk/showthread.php?t=5413).
A dedicated host will be provided for these games.

Please add the MatchBox360 group representative highlighted in bold to your friends list asap.
You are also advised to ensure you have sufficient space on your friends list to add all your group players.

ALL PLAYERS MUST ASSIGN BOMB SQUAD TO PERK1.
ALL PLAYERS MUST ASSIGN DOUBLE TAP TO PERK2.
ANY PLAYER FOUND ASSIGNING ANY OTHER PERKS THAT STILL WORK WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

All perks are banned. If Overkill (perk2) works as well then that is also obviously not allowed.

Basically there are perks that still work despite perks being off, as such please assign the following:

I believe none of perk3 are affected.

thanks kon bit confusing - not been on it much since patch been out - best get on and practice - beast of a round tonight - some good players - so think some of it will come down to luck of spawns and who has a good game

Basically the new patch has screwed up perks disabled in private games online (ie you set perks to disabled in game options but some of them still work).

The perks that are no longer actually disabled include explosives in perk1 and overkill in perk2. I'm yet to test this fully hence why I have specified perks as above to be used as I know these remain disabled.

Obviously unless they release an updated patch soon then it will have serious consequences for all online tournaments and we will have to reconsider our "no perks" policy especially for team tournaments as it would be more or less impossible to enforce unless players recorded their games including killcams.

Yes mate.

Perk1: Bomb Squad - pretty useless perk anyway and is completely redundant if players dont have the ability to plant explosives available on perk1.
Perk2: Double Tap - definitely doesnt.
Perk3: havent tested fully so please use common sense and pick something useless like eavesdrop.
