I have a feeling this could bring back a few footballing memories, My personal favourite is the 5-0 defeat of Man Utd in 1996.

25th May 2005, AC Milan vs. Liverpool FC in the Ataturk statium, Istanbul.
Even from an objective point of view, that was a game and a half.
EDIT: Here are the highlights set to one of the greatest compositions of the last Century (http://youtube.com/watch?v=yC5U3fQTBf8), Requiem for a Tower
EDIT2: That's the best set of highlights I can find on the internet, because everyone on Youtube thinks they're a ****ing amateur film director.

England vs Scotland 1996 for me. I was there at Wembley that day. That famous day when Gazza scored that goal and did that celebration. Being there, singing three lions at the height of its popularity and seeing one of the greatest goals ever scored. Great memories.

United 2 Munich 1, best final ever, roy keane with his "proffesional foul" on zinedane zidane enuser we got to the final, even though he knew he'd miss it and i take my hat off to him for it and evidently it capped off a fantastic season United were the treble winners.

From an excitement and quality point of view, Liverpool v Milan in Istanbul.
From a personal 'best day ever' point of view, Crewe 1-0 Brentford in the Division Two Playoff Final at Wembley in 1997. I could lose everything I have but I would still cherish that memory.
Honourable mention to Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle (twice).

What about when Liverpool beat Germany 5-1? That was a good England match. Hat-trick from Owen, and goals from Heskey and Stevie Stevie Stevie G.

I'm always drinking! :p
When England beat Germany 5-1 in 2001, all 5 goals were scored by (at the time) Liverpool players.

yeah but it still doesn't make it liverpool 5 germany 1. I ****ing hate it when gobshites call it that.
At the world cup 2002. Owen scored the only goal for england against brazil whilst still a liverpool player. I'm guessin none of you kopites call that match Liverpool 1 Brazil 2.

In recent times for me it would have to be Bentford vs Reading, 20 April 2002. I even got my ticket signed by the three players involved in the equalizer (Viveash -> Parkinson-> Cureton) :D

Dan i was there was funny when they made the Brentford player who got sent off walk past all the crewe fans who obviously gave him loads of abuse.
The games i remember most are Spurs winning the FA cup final in 1991 and England beating Holland in Euro '96. That was a quality tournament. Shows how an England team should play rather than the bunch of individuals we have now. Bring back Anderton i say.

Yeah i got aload of the stuff they were selling after the game like the big flag when it was over half price. pretty good game was a long journey down on a coach though. My friends mum used to work for the sponsors, erm Boulden Jones, James or something so we got the tickets through her. Good day out.
