Please use this thread to arrange your MatchBox360 FIFA08 European Championship Group D fixtures and reports results accordingly.
You have until midnight SUNDAY 2nd MARCH to play all group fixtures.

You are to play each player in your group twice as part of any one fixture alternating host accordingly.
The host will set up the game and play as the home team.

The GROUP D players are as follows:

Logic Jakuz : France
DX MrColl : France
EnVy Rush : Italy
iPotential : Spain
RenegadeDS : France

Please note: you must remain as the same team for the duration of the tournament.

Please report your results in the following format:

Winner: player 1
Game 1 Result: 3 - 1
Game 2 Result: 2 - 3
Aggregate Score: 5-4

The top 2 players from each group will progress to the knockout stage.

Good games, plenty of lag but still playable. Second half iPotential totally worked out that drilled balls across were doing the trick, and scored 5 of them lol. I got a couple of decent goals - in the 1st game Trezeguet missed an open goal, and in the 2nd game Malouda did the same, but iPotential is a quality player and I never really stood a chance. Cheers for the games.

Yeah very good game renegade, show you really know and understand how to play the game. got unlucky a few times but other than that it was a really good game. Very challenging being spain and playing against a fast team like frence with lag but you shown that you are able to go far in this competition. Well done!

Cheers mate. Don't know about going far as it really is a group of death with you and MrColl in it, but I'm enjoying the learning experience of playing class players. Some of your tricks are class, and you picked up my weaknesses really quickly. Must.. try... harder lol.

What's weird is that even when I lose, I'm enjoying the game much more than I used to enjoy competitive PES matches.

MrColl, from an outside perspective either of you could be telling the truth. It's going to go down to an event organiser to sort out unless either player has proof of the score.

The most likely decision without proof is that the matches will be replayed, or one final deciding match will take place - but an organiser will offer a better idea.

*edit - Potential, why have you changed the score in your post from 2-1 to 3-2?

it says exactley what i thought it would say
that made the score 3-2 that game, he had asked me what the final score was over 2 legs, i sent him 2 messages telling him the scores and whgat times he scored them down as i keep track wid them on a piece of paper, but yeah keep fighting for win :D:D if you need this win so badly you will keep making bulshit

@ Potential - I dont understand why you would accept a loss if the end result was a draw.

well KON neither would i, but obviously there is not a way of proving it, and to be honest with you, i have plenty of experience in gaming, i have come across alot bigger issues then pepople just trying to cheat wins, i know the final score, he knows it aswell, if he wants to win then just give it to him to be honest, i just know to stay well clear of him and got nothing other to do then warn other people in the group...but there is no other way of proving my side of things but words, so i might as well leave it at this, ihave been XL before and have won competitions, this i felt could of been easier but MrColl was a good player and to be honest i dont understand why he wasnt happy with the draw, but if he wants it to boost him closer to qualifications, then by all means give it to him, maybe still qualify maybe not, but its your call, you organise these events

Kon - it is only ranked matches. Unranked games do not show up.

Unranked Matches i hae won VS Spain 3:2 and the 2cend match is not in the ranking then TW Potential quit the game in the 84 minutes by the stand 4:3 for me

The first game isnt being disputed...both of you have reported that you won that game by 1 goal despite conflicting results being reported. Its the 2nd game that effects the overall aggregate score.

Great games, was 4-0 up in the first game and then MrColl discovered that he had Theirry Henry! MrColl is a good player but has mastered the cut back - far too reliant on them and not focusing on the rest of his attacking play. I scored an absolute wonder goal with Malouda in the second game, passing the ball from defense to attack and screaming in a 30 yard bolt into the top corner, which MrColl didn't know how to come back from. I honestly don't think I would have conceded were it not for the cutbacking, which is something MrColl really needs to work on removing from his game. Well played, IMO a deserved win.

Plus - you can't exactly remove yourself from a tourney because 'Spain wont read very well' after you've beaten me. If that happens technically I would have been better off not playing you, to get the three points everyone else will get!

I don't know the skill of any of the other players at all so it's no commentary on their ability, it's just preferable that if someone plays a fixture and wins that they don't then pull out - as it grants the remaining players a win and puts the first player at a disadvantage. Unless the result that you have played gets completely wiped, in which case you're free to go lol :p;)

No word at all from Logik Jakuz or EnVy Rush. Someone added me to their friend list saying they were replacing EnVy Rush, si I accepted but have heard nothing since.

To the two players I need to play - I will be online between 10:30am and 2pm, and then at intermittent periods thereafter. If I am online, I am happy to play our games on fifa, no matter what game I'm currently playing. Just invite me and it will be played.
