LOST in Cloverfield

Have any LOST fans who have been to see Cloverfield noticed the Dharma Initiative logo appear for a few seconds in the bottom right corner of the screen during the opening titles:confused::confused:

Havnt seen cloverfield yet but I have heard a few reported links actually. JJ Abrams directs Lost and produced Cloverfield so the links are very deliberate and for that reason.

Having not seen Cloverfield my knowledge of it is fairly small, I was intruiged about it upon hearing the news of the link, but I dont want to spoil the film by looking into it too far. Another link I have heard, which obviously could be complete nonsense, is that the monster from Cloverfield has something to do with the lost Island and/or the Monster on the Island..

Yes, there's a couple of things to do with lost apparently. I've seen it and didn't notice too much.

But: WARNING SPOILER

At the end when they're in the big wheel looking out to the water, if you look to the left of the boat you see something drop into the sea, this looks like the black smoke from lost. Hundreds of lost fans think the monster in cloverfeild is the monster on Lost now, and that it develops from the smoke. LOL

It's not really much of a spoiler tbh. But still. For anyone still to see the film here's a tip for you.

In the last scene, look to the left of the boat. That is all.

It would be a pretty hard transformation, as the monster on cloverfield looks nothing like the smoke monster on LOST, I don't want to say much more in fear of spoiling the movie. but I'm sure that this isn't true

Also a very odd sound clip at the end of the movie sounds weird, but apparently when reversing the sound of the clip it says "it's still alive!". Awesome stuff.

I think he's added a couple of hidden things because he knows LOST fans will go to watch it just because he made it. I think that he put the easter eggs in to keep certain LOST fans happy and the tv show and Cloverfield are in no way linked.
