I have been in contact with their leader VVV Equinox, and he told me that they cannot make the final deadline to complete the match which we had agreed. We had agreed the time for this match 48 hours ago which was for 9th February 9:00pm which is today. Now he has told me they cannot make it because his players are not online which is not my teams fault. We were fully prepared to do the match and they were not. I have explained to him that the match results have to be in for tonight otherwise both teams get booted from the tournament. These are the pictures as proof they cannot make the match:

It was only until 11.15 pm last night that Kon said he would extend the bracket by a day. You asked for tomorrow before Kon said this, but at the time, it will have resulted in us both being removed.

Why you making yourselfs out to be beast, I was bumming my Xbox yesterday as I had nothing else to do, does that make me sad, if your a top team then you shud be on time for every match you play, stop acting the big one and get on with it professinionally like VVV are meant to be!

BTW not sure where you're getting the time of 11:15pm...I gave an extension to another fixture at 5:18pm yesterday where both teams agreed a time for the game to be played on Sunday. That is the sporting thing to do and you could quite easily have done the same.

We arranged the Saturday fixture 2 days beforehand, giving them plenty of time to contact team mates etc.

A week ago when we agreed with our opponents to play one of our fixtures a day late, you informed us that this was not ok, and we would both have to go into the losers bracket. Because this is VVV i dont see why the rules should be bent to meet their needs. If they cannot make a fixture that THEY agreed 48hrs in advance, that is their problem, not ours. This is not about SqR getting a win by default, this is now about the principle that rules are allowed to be changed, just because it is VVV. I think that you can see from the messages that we received from Equinox, that they are the unsporting team and not us. Therefore i feel that we should not be put in this position to decide whether we should play them or not, they should automatically be classed as the losers of this fixture because of the attitude and responses that we received.

In that case their was a bye for the losers anyway, that is not the case here. In our fixture against destiny, neither team could agree a day/time. But this fixture against VVV was arranged and agreed by both teams. I dont understand why you are pushing for this fixture to take place. They did not turn up for the fixture agreed and the day for the match results to be in has passed. Squadra Recon are unable to play tonight, as we already have a pre arranged xleague match.

The only difference is that your round 2 fixture was winners bracket, and this is losers bracket which results with elimination from the tournament for one of the teams. The rules applied are the same, so I'm simply proposing an amicable solution for both teams. If you cant play today then the reported default win result stands. Simple.

After telling me that he couldn't get in contact with anyone of you guys I started to contact you guys.

I had a talk with Envy Ninto and Envy Legendary on Friday and they said they couldn't get enough people online due a broken Xbox and someone being on holiday to Italy.

Another thing they said is: "Try tomorrow"

So I did;

Tried to contact Envy Legendary who didn't reply and contacted Envy Ninto who said;

"I don't feel like playing, gotta go" and so he went.

So basically my Match Coordinator who was trying to get in touch with you guys but didn't get any responce and me talking to your members about this match and trying to get this done before the deadline the only thing we got was: " Not enough players, don't feel like playing"

Sorry to say Drksphnx, I know you've got a decent team and trust me.. We're never afraid to lose a match since we only learn from our losses.. We play any team any time any day since we fear no team.

Every match we've played went smooth without any problems and we're known as a fair team who report their loss if we lose and play matches without any nonsence.

I think it's a bit unfair saying: " Are you guys afraid to get 3-0'ed " I expected a mature responce from you which we obviously couldn't get and I'm sorry it had to go this way.
