The Halo 3 4v4 Round 2 Lower Bracket fixtures must be played & results reported by Monday 4th February.

You are to play a best of 5 series as specified in the Halo 3 4v4 Rules (http://community.matchbox360.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=5121).

Please note: we would appreciate it if all teams concerned play with good sportsmanship and refrain from the use of any glitches or cheats. Should you believe the opposition has cheated in anyway, then you must supply clear evidence so MatchBox360 admin can take the appropriate action.

Any team found fielding non-registered players is in breach of the MatchBox360 rules and will subsequently be disqualified. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure opponents only play with fully registered team mates. As such, please supply evidence (screen shot or game links) to prove any use of illegal players.

We urge players to use this thread to record all happens of when they will be playing their fixture as it helps us if a team calls a no-show. Try and keep any Emails/PMs or MSN logs which have any information that proves when you agreed to set up your Match. If neither team submits a result then your fate will be decided by the Events team and both teams could be thrown out of the competition.

You're correct Adam, sorry I just knew a loss had been reported. I just took on running the tournament due to Spindryer being internet-less, and he might of noted it down these guys pulled out, whereas I was unaware. You guys will obviously now receive a bye into the next round.

Only just seen you guys post - obviously 9pm has passed. We are currently getting the troops rallied to play this around 9:30pm. How another team can be granted the win by saying 'tonight is fine, 10pm is too late' is beyond me.

Also, VVV couldn't do Monday, Friday or Saturday - so again to grant a win based on our unavailability is a little off.

have all been given one extra day to complete their fixtures. Default wins and such will happen if these games are not completed. It could even result in both teams being removed from the competition if no obvious effort has been made.

Anyway, I'm not trying to take the piss, I'm just saying that 10pm is a relatively easy going time - it's not late in the slightest. I only moaned because I know exactly what would happen if I were to say '9pm is too early', which for students with part time jobs, it is. We have to take nights off to play tournament matches, it's a damn sight harder than you think when you send me a message saying 'we can play tonight or tomorrow' so we booked last night off work and then you tell us the time we are available is too late - which is why it's also irritating to hear Gaskin say that because we weren't available on three nights that a win must go to you, when the nights we were available you guys couldn't play.

It's nobody's fault that both teams have been available on different nights, but don't assume that every player gets every night off and is free to play games every night.

10 is too late when you have an 8 year old sister and other members of the family trying to get to sleep because they have work early in the morning which I believe is very similar to your work situation, obviously we can't get round these work problems and I have no problem with that and I should have been more specific with the times that we could play and I admit that, but saying you were up at 1am waiting for us the most unreasonable excuse ever.

I understand people do things after school I am a student as is stoddy and we know how demanding a job can be but if you can't handle both then choose one or the other because this situation may arise in the future.

We were on at approx 3:17am-6:02am. Why weren't you on?

I didn't say we were up wanting to play at 1am, I said we were waiting until then on the off chance that you could play, and as we are aware that any time after about midnight is a little harsh, we would have just had a brief chat and confirmation of when we could play. Stop making it out as though I'm saying 'we should have played at 1am' - as that's nothing like what I said. I said we waited until then for any sign of you or a reply from Gaskin, and we got neither. At that point I needed to go to bed to be up at 7 for Uni, and my team mate had to go back to work.

As you yourself have said, you should be more specific with times - you can't give a vague window (available last night) then as soon as we give a time (10pm) claim that it's too late. We played by your rules - you set a night, we took the time off work and arranged a time, you rejected the time. There wasn't much more we could do. If you had said from the start that you could only play up until 9, we would have sorted our nights off to go back to work at 11.

As it is, we will play tonight at 9. There's your night, there's your time.


*edit* Liam, don't be rediculous. I checked this morning and you weren't on between those times at all. If between 3am and 6am is better for you guys, let us know and we will play it then. But don't lie about being on at those times.
