C22 were raping like 13-6 on construct but they ended it as THEIR host was laggy.. so they said oh lets play on your host as we cant give you a good enough host. thats against the ruless??? check bungie?? we played again as we couldn't tell them to unmute us so we thought we would tell them after the game.

ok wow we just 3-0 flag them ctf on the pit... as soon as we capture the 1st one they start crouching we just cap the others and then tell us we played mlg v3 ctf instead of gb v3 ctf.

Yep you had the wrong gametypes on on the pit-that's your fault.
My host was constantly putting everyone in to yellowbar, so we out of good will gave you host to make it more fun. You didn't seem to have a problem with giving your team host until we beat you....funny that.

good will? we were winning by 7 kills and set up. Good will would have played through the lagg and get a result.

On isolation we were like half way through when the host started to get bad. On construct no one was even on double figures in kills yet. And as I said your team had no objections to receiving host until you lost.

I'm taking all of this into consideration and will contact Spindryer and Konspiracy and we will make a decision. The only difference from what I know between MLG and GB is that GB is set to 15 minutes whereas MLG is 30 but MLG settings you end at 30 anyway unless it is a tie and you go into sudden death so to speak. It is possible a replay may come into account (only a replay on the Pit CTF, other results we cannot change), you will be informed asap.

Edit: I will also bring up the ending of a game early. This could quite possibly be against the rules and may also need to be replayed or a win handed. I cannot confirm anything yet.

The connection was yellow....There's no point playing on a laggy host. And GB flag is designed for online play so that's what your supposed to use. The flag returns quicker etc.

You cannot end the game on 13-6 due to lag. (Just like you didn't end it on isolation when we was in yellow and popping low green occasionally. The lag test was already done...and it was your host both times. And you're all joke kids pretending it was laggy to justify getting beaten so badly at the start. Even with your false pretentiousness or not, you cannot end it. Your childishness is amazing.

3-2 to Catch 22, the preceding games shouldn’t have taken place. Even if they did, we still win; you cannot play serious and then stop shooting after we cap, how pathetic are you...you know that was your intentions all along. Maybe next time notice in the pre-game lobby and don’t keep us waiting 30m due to "tea" after 1 match.

Can both teams kindly reframe from turning this thread into flame wars. Kon or Gaskin or even both will post up a decision on this match later and whatever they say goes, no ifs and no buts.

Catch 22 B will take a 2-1 lead into these games as per the results of the first 3 games.

Both teams are to confirm availability and the fixture is to be played no later than Tuesday 29th January.

Ok, i'm not flaming, this is just me giving my opinion.

To be able to tell if a game is laggy 3 kills into it is imo preposterous. Why? Well, as some of you may know, the majority of hosts begin with lag but improve with time, though i'm sure this is variable.

Now, please do the maths - (my number of deaths + 1) multiplied by my average life gives a total of 60 seconds gameplay, plus or minus approx 3 seconds as each second is probably rounded up from a decimal. So 60 seconds in we ended. This was cheating..? :confused:

Furthermore, the Pit flag game was on the wrong gametype. It is stated expressly....

I personally don't know the score at which we stopped playing (maybe 1-0?), but what does it matter? It was the wrong map and gametype, not just gametype (no-one else realise this??) and as Blink says we might aswell have played Hammer Jammer on High Ground, Rocket Races on Isolation, or how about a bit of Climb the Beanstalk on my Wacky Valhalla map? :D Seriously though, i dont know the difference between GB and MLG maps/gametypes, but if MLG feel there is a large enough discrepancy between LAN and Live to warrant a different map and gametype then I, for one, agree.

I apologise if i come across badly here (i'm sure i do :o, but i feel what was a good tournament has been ruined by bad sportsmanship, and it annoys me), im sure we will play a rematch but i just wanted to explain the situation clearly on 4K's behalf.

P.S. how will neutral host be decided? I predict more arguments...
