As the last event sort of died a death, I have decided to set up a different style of event

So I thought we would go for a National Team Event with a twist :)

THE FOLLOWING TEAMS ARE BANNED FROM THIS EVENT

BRAZIL
ARGENTINA
HOLLAND
GERMANY
ENGLAND
FRANCE
SPAIN
ITALY
CROATIA
CZECH REPUBLIC
NIGERIA
URAGUAY
PORTUGAL
SWEDEN
CAMEROON
IVORY COAST

(This is subject to change - other teams may be considered, if attention is brought to them)

Unsure of the format.... but will probably go for a world cup style event depending on numbers

But it will be

Match Length: 10 mins

Condition: Normal

*duplicate teams allowed*

Nah Russia aint got any super human players, not that I know of anway :D

I think if we're left with teams like Scotland, Poland, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece etc then it will make for a good tourney as none of them have any amazing players. They aint crap teams, just half decent teams. Although I could be wrong as I havent checked them all out I suppose :)

Lads just to let you know... and event date will be sorted when we have given everyone enough time to sign up..

basic event structure info... will be based on something like this.

32 player event

8 groups of 4 (undecided on one or two legs)

Top 2 from each group qualify for knockouts which will be single leg.

Event will probably be run over about 4 - 5 days to allow everyone enough time to complete their fixtures... however if everyone is available on a given date... we will probably just do it in one evening :)

I'll keep you all updated and when theie are enough players, I'll create the event, enter the players and pm everyone on Pesrankings.

I know we have the players - what we don't have is a team. Scotland on the other hand make up for the marginal lack of ability by fighting tooth and nail together, and I honestly believe they would beat us.
