If you want one then I dont see a problem with that
Do you have any suggestions on format/gametypes you'd like us to use?

Knockout would maybe be the best format (could also include winner and losers brackets so teams get more than one tie).
I would do best of 3 as well...
Maps I would sugest are Guardian, Iso, Narrows, The Pit and construct.... maybe an decent variant of foundry would also be a nice touch...
I think most people would prefer slayer but you could always do a poll to see what people are into...

Personally I don't think objective gametypes would work too well with 2v2 tournaments as the maps in H3 really don't suit objective games with smaller amounts of players, and can be far too easy to control.
I would like to see a best of 3 - all slayer, but with the home team picking the first map, the away team picking the second map, and the final map being a pre-determined map by the event organiser.
This way it means that to win overall you're most likely going to have to beat the opposing team on a map they feel they are 'better' at, and is more likely to show skill by adaptability IMO. Think of it like tennis - you can't win a set unless you break your opponents' serve at least once.
*edit* Wullie - you can't have any of the matches of Foundry, seeing as it is paid downloadable content, meaning not everyone would have it.
