I'll reply so it doesn't look like everyone doesn't care ;)
The question is, can they qualify for the world cup finals?
Ye who cares, Scotland suck.

Easily.
Out of the four candiates for the job, I felt it was either Burley or Burns to take it.
I felt these two definetly have the power to take Scotland onto the finals easily.
Ye who cares, Scotland suck.
So do England.
We nearly qualified from the 'Group of Death' in the Euro 2008 quals
And England struggled in one of the easiest groups in the competition.
Therefore, your theory is wrong. :)

I felt that it was mainly the players fault for playing so poorly in that group
But still, McLaren wasn't the man to give these 'over-payed' players a good kick up the arse.
I think Capello will do that no bother.

Really?!?! The guy is a ****ing muppet AND dodgier than Harry Redknapp. I think with Burley you got far and away the better deal!!

When he was manager of Celtic, they played the best football that they've played in years.
In the case of Burley he's a man who can scrape victories out of difficult games.
Which I like.
But I like seeing good football also.
If either of them got it I would have been pleased.
I also feel that Burley might do what traitors like McLeish and Smith did to us also.

I'll need to find a past post of some of the England supporters that claimed that Euro 08 Quals were going to be easy.
