Wireless headset

So, the wireless headset has been out for a while now and I know that some people on here have it.

Is it worth getting? Does it improve the quality of playing Xbox Live? Does the lack of cables actually make a difference? Is the voice quality decent for both players?

Good question. After using my mates normal 360 headset the other day, I realised why I cant hear ppl on my customised H2 Plantronics headset is actually nothing to do with me goin deaf in one ear! lol :D

Currently considering buying the wireless headset if the sound quality is as good as the off shelf wired headset.

Well I found the Wireless Headset to be very good, Sound Quality is alot better than the Wired and it's handy not having the cable dropping down in front of you.

However like you've pointed out to me before, the other payer/(s) seem to pick up a weird sound and also a weird "cutting off" noise...So although I can't comment on that I suppose you need to ask those on the other end of the mic.

Well, you sound very distorted and yeah, it does sound like you're cutting out all the time. Since when have you been using it?

I was thinking about this, as if it's only me it happens with I'd probably ignore it.

Mainly because I tend to mumble alot anyway, so It's probably me causing them weird noises. Does it happen with other people who have the Wireless Headset aswell?

The sound quality is worse imo, i had it for a good month, used it all that time then decided to go back to the wired one, found that the wired one has far better quality and doesnt hurt your ear after like 30 minutes of gameplay. :) IMO not worth getting unless you can get it for cheap and dont mind your ear getting sore after a while, i got mine for

If the connector for the headset were on the 360, I'd say it would be worth it, but $60 to remove the cables from between your headset and your controller? Not worth it imo..
