This has been done before but since we have new shinny forum with some new members (sometimes not so shinny members) i thought we can give it a bash again. So whats your top 3 MUST see films of all time?
My top 3:
FightClub - Just love the twist at the end and the “don’t give a **** attitude throughout.”
Blues Brothers - Classic, love the car chasses and simple jokes throughout.
Snatch - One of the funniest films and most enjoyable films to watch "imo"

Top 3
Layer cake-Underrated, Daniel Craig is brilliant in this, and carrys the sophistication on his back, with some generally funny moments and references to other films.
Goodfellas/Casino-Cant decide- purely because I want DeNiros babies!
Snatch-Funny, witty, fast paced. Alan Ford=Brilliant!

I can't narrow it down to three, thats just crazy, so heres a list of my all time favourite films so far (don't know how many there will be until I finsh)
Gladiator- Pure cinematic genious
The Truman Show- Amazing idea for film, very clever
Jarhead- Not a standard war film: so much more
Team America- goes without saying
LOTR trilogy- books are faaar better, but they are still amazing films.
The Godfather- Maybe the best films ever imo
Fightclub- A classic
The Italian Job- Best ending in a film ever
Star Wars original trilogy- the original films were genious, the prequels are a disappointment
E.T- everyone loves it
Jurassic Park- Awsome film, effects were breathtaking for its time.
Saving Private ryan- needs no explanation
Back to the future- an unforgettable classic
Catch me if you can- i don't care what everyone else says, leonardo dicaprio can act, very well.
I'm going to stop, 'cause I could go on for ever tbh.
My top 3 would have to be:
1. Shaun of the Dead
2. Rocky Balboa (latest one)
3. Bad Boys 2
Fight club seems like a good bet (no I havn't seen it) for my next movie to watch.

Bad Boys 1 was the better film "imo" but Bad boys 2 was still a great film. This is about the best films of all time though, not favourite. Bad Boys as one of the top 3 movies ever? C'mon. It's a cheap action film to cash in, it's hardly as deep, clever, original and moving as the likes of Apocalypse Now and Saving Private Ryan.

Like PitS, narrowing it down to just three is difficult, it depends what mood your in, but these are 3 that would be always be around the top 3 for me, but in no order + a few classics that are always worth a viewing
- The Rock (some great lines in this film & like Nicholas Cages films a lot, Face Off & Gone in 60 Sec - good & yes have the boxset with all 3 in, one of the best sets I have)
- Shawshank Redemption
- Any Given Sunday
Others to note are True Romance, Brewsters Millions, Trading Places & Planes, Trains & Automobiles - John Candy what a LEGEND

Some great films in here but V For Vendetta? Probably one of the worst films I've ever seen. Terrible for so many reasons. That stupid, stupid bit with Steven Fry taking the piss out of that politician in that gameshow and the next day they took him away and he was like WTF and I was like
STEVEN FRY YOU MOTHER FUNKING MORON IF YOU TAKES THE SHIZ OUT OF A DICTATOR OF COURSE URE GNA GET DUN L0LZ!
I could rant on about the shittiness of that film. It's on a par with 2 Fast 2 Furious and Miami Vice.
Let's look at Pie In The Sky's list. I like to analyze him a lot.
Gladiator- Pure cinematic genious
The Truman Show- Amazing idea for film, very clever
Jarhead- Not a standard war film: so much more
Team America- goes without saying
LOTR trilogy- books are faaar better, but they are still amazing films.

Back to the future- an unforgettable classic
Catch me if you can- i don't care what everyone else says, leonardo dicaprio can act, very well.
Gladiator - Haven't seen it (saw bits of it, got bored with the supposedly 'spectacular' opening sequence) but just calling it cinematic genius is too vague.
The Truman Show - Can't fault you there.
Jarhead - Good film, but not amazing.
Team America - Didn't find it funny at all. Completely disappointed, what a load of rubbish.
The Godfather - Why are they the best films ever? Part III is meant to be not very good, and are they just amazing because everyone else says they are? I watched Part I recently and although it was good, I failed to feel the whole 'amazing' vibe.
Fight Club - Agreed, great film. But I hate the term 'Classic' because it just refers to general film knowledge and 'classic' doesn't necessarily mean 'good'.
The Italian Job - Agreed.
Jurassic Park - I tend to look past a film's 'omgz t3h special effectz' and look at other things such as themes, content, dialogue, depth, acting etc.
Saving Private Ryan - Yep
Catch Me If You Can - Yep, but who said DiCaprio can't act? Again, a generalization.
I hate quotes like 'An Unforgettable Classic' - they mean nothing! It's the kind of crap you'd find on a sticker on the DVD box.

By must see it must have some degree of good cinematography. and B: Where did i state that i thought Bad Boys 1 was one of my top must see films ? I simple said i thought it was "good" and better than Bad Boys 2 "imo".Got the posters mixed up, sorry.

Well thank you for clearing that up for everyone Mr Balloon, we can rest easy now. Anyway going over what Cack said about Team America i have too say i disagree. The film is low budget but its in a league of its for its toilet humour lol. I still reckon its worth watching if you have never seen it before and especially if you have just played some games on XBL and you came across some goby Yank, you can almost believe that this is what "some" Americans believe should happen. (America policing the world with force).

There are some political jokes and stuff in there, and im when im watching it with people i cant help but feel everybody else is laughing at the face value, slapstick humour, and im the only one really laughing at the slightly clever-er jokes :(
