Dubai International Capital - the investment arm of the Dubai Government - is to launch a 500m bid to buy Liverpool Football Club.

Says 350m now. I don't think Hicks and Gillette will step down for a while yet though. Anyway, it's not the owners that put the team sheets out every week, and I don't know why the Kop has suddenly started supporting Benitez again.
