Would be a very good signing for Villa. He is never gonna make the starting 11 at spurs without injuries or players sold. Im suprised that he has stayed at spurs for this long.
Ridiculous hair though..
Will he even get into the Villa starting line up do you reckon? Chris?

Not Tottenhams for one thing. Couldnt ever imagine him getting into Man utds either. Maybe anyone else.. Possibly not Newcastle I suppose if both Martins and Owen were fit.

Yeah the only teams he probably wouldn't would be United and Newcastle, I was thinking that. Tottenham's he should.

17-01-2008, 11:54 PM
You're mental. I think I would have gone down the lane myself to comlain to Ramos if Defoe had been getting a regular starting 11 over Keane or Berbatov.
Gaskin
17-01-2008, 11:58 PM
Berbatov + Defoe.
and if your heart is set on Keane being better than Malbranque then play Keane out on the wing. Or play Keane as an attacking mid. Or just sell him, pile of wank.

Yeah n if you put Defoe into that equation with Gabby and Young attacking the wings then Villa are going to be extremely dangerous going forward.
TBH I think he'll join the Barcodes as hes a media and money whore. If hes got any brains then he'll join Villa.
I like it.
Infact, I might get one myself, it would look sexy

According to skysports Ramos wants him to stay and he has said he wants to stay at Spurs. He was also captain at the weekend which was a strange decission as more senior players like Dawson were starting. I'm not sure he will be going anywhere this transfer window.

Dawson's 24... and also a bag of shite

Dawson in the past has been given the armband over players like Defoe.
And Dawson is pretty poor without King but put them together and they play well.

Defoe in all fairness won't get near the starting 11 if Keane and Berbatov are fit, and rightly so.
Keane is light years ahead of Defoe IMO.

I was debating whether to put Cerny in. And I didn't put Lee there as I thought if I did one of you jews might come in and get all gay about it. But low and behold someone still manages to.
Robinson is easily better than Cerny, he was bad at the start of the season, but he's looking a lot fitter now, and in shape. And is playing better than normal. Like every Tottenham fan, get off Robinson's back. Nubcake.

The fact is that Gaskin knows a lot less than ppl think about SPurs like thinking Defoe is better then Keane, not knowing the left back. Last and the best example thinking Spurs are called Yids because they were a team of Jews, when was this???
Gaskin
21-01-2008, 11:44 PM
I meant Fans were mostly Jews. I didn't know the left back off the top of my head, I'm sorry. The fact is you're a tottenham fan........... enough said.
Defoe IMO (I stress this word because obviously it helps people sometimes ) is better than Keane up front, however I did not say Keane shouldn't be in the squad. IMO a 4 - 3 - 1 -2 would suit spurs better as it'd accommodate these players, I would suggest a 4-3-3, but quite clearly Defoe and Keane have never matched up well striking together.
Don't worry I still love you Corthag.

Where the hell is that from? I swear to god you just make up everything you post about football. Go back to talking about Bristol city or the Scum of London, it suits you better, at least then you know some small facts.
Robinson is very well supported at spurs. Cerny has been knocking on the door for years now and Big Paul has done a great job to keep him out of the line up. I dont know any spurs fan that I can think of that isnt a massive fan of Robinson and what he has done for the club. Get your facts straight.. Nubcake. (p.s probably the lamest word ive ever had the mis-fortune of reading over and over and over.)

The fact is you said that every spurs fan had said Robinson was not playing well but the true fact is that Spurs fans have backed him alot and are split on whether he should be dropped or not. You stated what spurs fans supposedly thought but have been proved wrong by 2 now and ofcourse we are going to be biased because we are spurs fans but that is who you are meant to be truthfully quoting.

It's a massive boost for spurs. We reached our first final since 2002, we beat the scum.., We didnt just beat the scum, we battered the scum.
Im not 100% on this, but doesn't it almost gaurentee us our Uefa cup spot? Chelsea are obviously the favourites to win tonight against Everton, and they will obviously qualify for Champions league, that would pass the Uefa cup spot to us regardless of result right? Or would it go next league position?
If Everton win tonight, then Spurs have a massive chance in the final. Plus Everton again, really should qualify for at least Uefa..

Another competition for Tottenham to fail at, yay! Funny how that's the only way Tottenham can get european football this year.. through the carling cup. Nice.

I find it EXCESSIVELY funny that you find the need to accuse others of having limited or twisted football knowledge when you make complete garbage statements like that.
Spurs obviously hugely damaged their chances of reaching top 7/6 of the premiership with their very poor start, but lets face it. They have been on the climb recently and 13 points isnt an unattainable amount of points to gain on the Uefa chasing teams.
Secondly what is wrong with the carling cup? Arsenal like to play their reserves to give them first team experience, but that doesnt mean that Wenger decides that the carling cup is worthless and the whole world has to follow. The carling cup is still a prestigeous competition to any club outside of the top 4, and to be honest I think that even the top 4 publicly play down their desire to win it. It's silverware, it's a competition, and there is a European spot up for grabs. It isn't like there is some ridiculous stipulation in place which makes the carling cup less prestigeous. All that Mickey Mouse cup nonsense is, and always has been a complete farce invented by the top 4 when they unexpectedly lose in it.
Thirdly. What competition have tottenham failed at might I ask? What constitutes failing? A bad start to the premierleague because of a ridiculous board decision to ridicule the manager by going behind his back? The reaching of the quarter finals of the Uefa cup last year? The fact that we are still in both the F.A cup and The Carling cup this season. as well as reaching the semi finals last season? Wow. Failure.
I swear to god

What the hell? One day you accuse people of being anti-Arsenal just for not agreeing with you, and the next you're so anti-Spurs it hurts.
Spurs had a crap start to the season, not helped by a board that never showed confidence in their manager and then f*cked him over anyway. Since that, Spurs have showed absolute brilliance, getting to the final of one cup and remaining in the other - something Arsenal havn't done. How does Tottenham getting to the final classify as a failure, but Arsenal not even getting that far doesn't class as a failure? Does that seemingly inevitable fall of Arsenal in the Premier League not class as a failure? After all, they were clear at the top and blew it, yet you don't mention that.
Surely winning one competition to get into Europe is more enviable than not winning a competiton and getting there...
Gaskin
23-01-2008, 10:35 PM
That's the point, they're not going to win the competition, they're hoping on Chelsea getting there so that they'll definitely get it if they lose or win.
There's no point even replying to that, it was possibly the stupidist post I've ever seen.

Thats so retarded! I can only assume that this comment is based on me alone? I mentioned in a thread that getting to the final is a massive boost as we have 99% qualified for the Uefa cup through the result due to the fact that both Chelsea and Everton look like qualifying for Europe themselves. This is no way suggests that I want Chelsea to win as they are more likely, or that, that is the most important thing about reaching the final.
I was simply suggesting that the pressure is on tottenham after the poor start, and with Uefa qualification gaurenteed now, that is a HUGE bonus for spurs, and a massive weight off their shoulders. I still think that Spurs have a good chance of winning the Uefa cup this season, and I dont think it is beyond the relms of possibility that we could still get 7th/6th place (never 100% sure on how many teams qualify for these comps anymore) although that would be an awesome achievement from where we are now.
Tottenham - Chelsea in my eyes is going to be one hell of a match and I think we have a great chance of securing silverware. To suggest that the game is dead in the water and spurs fans wanted Uefa qualification only, is so retarded it hurts my brain.

Of course I am! Somewhere there is some basic communication breaking down here. If Spurs ' chance of qualification into the Uefa cup is not gaurenteed through the league, then why would I not be happy that we have got it through the carling cup? That seems a crazy suggestion. Actually, what you were suggesting with you post before was that the most important thing about the carling cup final was the the fact that we now have a Uefa cup spot, which is insane.
