I frequent on many forums and it really seems like nobody cares, it's quite fascinating how Sony have just destroyed themselves and antisipation for the PS3. If they hadn't changed a thing Sony would be rolling in MS's tears, weird they opted otherwise.

I frequent many forums, some of them 360 only and there are still many people that want one. And several say the price is right, it's just the games that are too expensive.

no, but you can play WoW, BF, CnC, supreme commander, guild wars,footmanger age of empires, war hammer, half life, champ man, counterstrike, city of heros, rainbow six, quake, crysis.....the list would go on for alot longer than i can be arsed to type

also yes you can play devil may cry on pc.

the point is that i have an xbox, for a console and i cant justify 500quid for a second console for one or two games, there realy is no need to get a ps3 unless you want mgs or tekken practicaly everything else is comeing out on the 360.

It's a bargin if you want a blu ray if you don't its really a waste, I really want resistance myself as well as Ratchet and Clank 5 but until I see both those games im avoiding the thing like an impulse buyer should.

im not saying it would be a good pc, but it would run them kind of games, you dont need to have them at the highest spec. unless you realy care about the graphics. its not about the graphics imo but about the gameplay. i dont havethe highest spec pc ever. but it runs my games, and thats what its all about.

and 500 quid would get you a pc that would run those games, and like i said you would be cutting corners, no case, small HDD cheap dvd etc.

CnC and bf2 are entirely different games on the pc, come on BF2 for the pc is the best FPS ever made, (and i hate EA,remember) i was just pointing out, origanly that the ps3 for 500 is a bit much, and for 500 quid you can buy a pc that would play these amazing titles. yes for 500 quid you can get a ps3 and play the entire back catalogue of ps games, but there arnt that many games i would want to play on the ps. thats why i sold mine.

i think this has totaly gone off the orig topic. and lets just put it down to personal prefence. just like everything else on here, it goes in the "IMO" bollocks.

Quickshot, and mazzy what i think you fail to realise is that your average Joe bloggs doesnt have the time or knowledge to build a PC. So instead they will purchase for a little more or little less a console which is already set up with similar specs, and doesn't need to be updated every 6 months.

Looked around and saw this review on the 360 and ps3's graphics and they sed the 360's were a lot better, and cheaper,

IMO i think the 360 has the better more detailed graphics, adn u cant say that its becoz its a ps3 release becoz FN round 3 was for the 360 as well ( around then anyway ) ;)

No but what you can say is that both images have different lighting so you cannot compare them.

Even so you really should not be comparing such a title, you need a game that pushes many areas at once, but im not really bothered anymore about the console differences end of the day its:

PC > 360 & PS3

Brandz are you saying the ps3 can't do the lighting in the 360 pic?

Those pics are clearly taken consecutively as the stadium would have loads of light effects and flashing from cameras.

In the end i think that getting a ps3 will depend on a few things such as

1: If it is releasing games you will play.

2: if you can afford to get one.

3:If you will spend enough time playing it to make it worth the money, no point in spending that kind of money if it only gets played once a week.

IMO If people really do love MGS and Devil May Cry then let them shell out half a grand on something that will play them, but if you are not able to just throw cash around take the safer and more affordable option being the 360, which i also think is Better.
