We are pleased to confirm that registration for the Guitar Hero III Tournament is now open via the MatchBox360 XL Ticket Office (http://tickets.matchbox360.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=30).

This will be part of our first series of online tournaments in 2008 and will start on the weekend Saturday 12th January.
Full rules and prize details will be confirmed in due course.

To register for online events please follow the simple instructions below:

Enter the MatchBox360 XL Ticket Office (http://tickets.matchbox360.co.uk/).
Select which ONLINE TOURNAMENTS you would like to enter, complete the player details and click "add this to my cart".
When you have registered, please check your "shopping cart" details are correct and click "go to checkout".
If you haven't already done so, you will be requested to login or create an account.
Once logged in, you will be requested to confirm your order details and complete your order.
You will receive a confirmation email from the MatchBox360 XL Ticket Office confirming your registration details and unique "order number".
If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check you have entered the correct email address in your account information.
You may also check your registration details by logging into the MatchBox360 XL Ticket Office (http://tickets.matchbox360.co.uk/) and checking your "Order History".

Please note:

In order to register, you will need to create an account on the MatchBox360 XL Ticket Office (http://tickets.matchbox360.co.uk/).
Please register stating your correct XBL gamertag and MatchBox360 username as requested.
Registration will close on Thursday 10th January.
Each player must be registered to MatchBox360 & be resident in the UK or Europe to enter.
Any player found not to be registered to MatchBox360 will result in your teams disqualification from the tournament.

Im new here and registered for this tournament. This doesn't mean Im bad at this game though. Im 1st place on the live leaderboards on Number Of The Beast with an FC. Not many people have the FC yet.:D

on what difficulty though?

hard or expert = impressive

easy or medium = meh

I've registered, even though I don't have the game. Because I should be getting it TODAY :)

I did the same, and I did indeed get it today. Just finished the battle with Slash, and it was only on my 50000th go! :D

In comparison, I destroyed Tom Morello after about 8 seconds.

I started on Hard, and I've got to the last section. But I'm actually going to have to use star power to pass them, rather than going for the scores like I was up until then. Anyone want to priv chat, or co-op, I'm bored. :(

I still cant get passed Lou on hard. I have 5 stars on every song but i just need to pass tht one to finish it and i cant :( I have been close a couple of times but i just cant seem to do it.

I am very much stuck on Lou. 4*'d all the Hard songs (except Raining Blood), but Lou gets his powerup before I can get one, so I'm pretty much fuggered.

I would like to remind all players and teams that in order to register for this online tournament, you must complete the registration form stating the correct MatchBox360 username for each player. Any players who have been registered stating an email address or the username of another person listed will not be allowed to take part. Please ensure all your team mates are registered to this website as it will result in your team being eliminated from the tournament if you play with illegal players.
