Don't go for that one. I've got it. Argos have nothing decent below 200 I think.
What's the problem with Ikea?

Because most of their stuff is manufactured to a poor standard. Half of their stock looks like it belongs in a primary school and the other half looks like it is designed for teenage boys who still live at home.
Where is Neyo he is a fashion punk has he got a nice desk?

Uh, Ikea actually have really good quality ****. It's places like MFI etc that have poor quality stuff. I've tried them, Ikea is far superior.

You should have pretended you don't like it. Azure and a meer peasant such as yourself owning the same desk would be sacreligeous...

Glass desks are crap depends what budget your on man, as anything -100 you should not be expecting quality but something that looks half decent and is practical. I will just be buying a chunky wooden desk with a large surface area to get ready for my next system to be on there aswell whatever that may be. As long as it looks ok and does the job i dont care its a desk, not a tourist attraction.

MFI don't use MDF, it's veneered chipboard.
What you after in a desk? Just a single surface or tiers? Wouldn't be too hard to build one to be honest, getting some MDF and a bit of veneer is a doddle, get it chopped to size for you and find some legs, easy :D

I'm looking for something that has generous space, simple 1 tier system with an ergonomic cut into it, could be L-shaped.
I mean, I woud be happy enough with just a big high quality table but I want to sit somewhat in the workspace, it sounds OTT but I have spent enough times at a badly made desk or work station to realise how **** they are compared to something that is functional and actually helps you do what you want.
I might actually just get a piece of wood and have a carpenter go to it, then buy some legs from wherever and fasten them on myself. I don't mind forking out for it within reason [sub

I have a PC desk sitting here doing nothing if you're interested?
Havent got any pics available as its behind all my studio kit...basically one low shelf for pc/printer to stand on, desktop for keyboard/mouse n a higher adjustable shelf for the monitor (optional). Also has a round thing that folds out for your mouse n tucks in under the desktop (optional) plus built in CD racks on the legs. Surfaces are wood (ie covered mdf) n legs are brushed steel effect.
