Best Games on Wii for Xmas?

Well its that time of year again...Christmas is fast approaching and the hunt for the rare Wii console is on again. If you're lucky enough to get your hands on one, what games "wiill" you be looking to get?

Done some searching on review sites and these seem to be the top 15 games out there:

Obviously this is the opinion of games reviewers so not necessarily accurate. If you already have a Wii, what games would you recommend for some light hearted fun with the family/girlfriend?

Ended up with a bundle pack which included Wii Sports, Sims Pet bolx and 3 games of choice. As its for the mrs I ended up getting:

Super Mario Galaxy
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
Mario Strikers Charged

...I ****in hate Mario! lol :eek:

Would have got Zelda but cant see the mrs playing it for more than 2 hrs then couldnt bored shitless tbh. Most of the other games are 1 player which defeats the object of gettin a Wii in the first place IMO.

If you haven't already got it for 360, GH3 might be a good buy.

Wario ware is always a brilliant multiplayer game although I don't have it for the Wii I have the older version for gamecube and it was really fun.

I sold my WarioWare (for Wii) because there's just not enough stuff on it, unlike the DS version.

Mario and Sonic Olympics was a good choice although your arms will be left in pieces due to using the same motions over and over. Brilliant for multiplayer though and hook it up to the net and you can try and beat world records people are setting on the game :)

I got COD3 for Wii last Christmaas. Played it once, swore at the screen, and now I don't know where it is. It's so damn hard to control, even though it sounds easy on paper.

And yeah, your Wii will gather dust for months until Brawl comes out.

I rang up my local Gamestation n they just happened to have had some stock delievered. Went down shop at 9am where they had 10 consoles and by midday they were sold out again.

I know where to get one but it's about 330 quid so i'm just going to wait until the release of SSBB and get it then.

Not yet they aren't. Stock allocations are more often, but sell out more quickly.
