As there are some people that are fairly competitive with their Gamerscore (neyo, anyone? :p), I thought I'd create a leaderboard that reflects the points everyone of us has. If I've forgotten anyone, post in here with your Gamertag and I will add you.

Not all them have cheated, i remember talking to "Rance6" ages ago when he was around the 60k mark and he told me he had a Xbox 360 in every region format so he could play every Xbox 360 game in the world. Lately i remember reading a post on Xbox.com saying that StripClubDJ had cheated to get his gamerscore, apparently he gives his account to people around the world just so they'll get him another 1000 gamerscore from their games then once they've done it he recovers his and their account and gets the 1000 gamerscore for him. The Gamerscore circle of life.

No. You would only need 100 games, and each game only has 1000 PT's, some even have a few less.

No, you misunderstood, you implied in your post that it's impossible with the amount of games that are released. Well, it's not. According to the stats on Achieve360points (http://www.achieve360points.com/) suggests that there are almost 150000 points to be achieved, however there are some achievements that are broken and some games have achievements that simply take forever. But it is possible.

There is an option to download gamesaves from the internet. There are specific sites for it which list gamesaves in order of the achievements gained. If you then transfer them to your 360 and load them up you will either get the points straightaway or just have to do a tiny thing ingame.

And Rance6 has used saves. There is one game, I think Gun which he apparently got 1000 points from in one day. That is not possible. A single playthrough takes 4-6 hours, there are 4 difficulties, so that's 16-24hours already, plus sidemissions and gold mines.... It is simply not possible in a day.

Xbox 360 games saves no longer work on the consoles since the "Fall Update" according to the americans. only certain old games work.

If your ben konobi (that is NOT spelt right :rolleyes: you do I think its something like X,X,A or A,X,X, basically you jump and thrust down and you can kill people, canisters etc.
For some reason my ghost can hit anything just with normal swings :confused:

First person to get to 50k can officially have a, Im a lazy **** tag stuck next to their name on the forum forever. I really do struggle to see how people like getting these miniscule, not important in any way, waste of life achievements. Try getting to the top of the leaderboards in the world in a game instead of geting childs play ones. Pretty much every game has some tough achivements i will admit that, but 90% of them are rinse and repeat.

Of course that is your opinion, but there are people that will argue that it makes them play some games more than they would've otherwise.

Others that just like getting them, but not really attempt them.

There are people that only play games to gain points and that will call a game bad and not play it, only because it has hard points.

And then people such as yourself that couldn't care less.

Something for everyone, don't you think?

I agree like everything else, you can easily not participate. I like them because they

1) give you recognition of completing something that bar bringing your friend over and showing him wasn't included,
2) makes you do things you wouldn't normally do, so to push yourself,
3) gives you the ability to track how well your mates are doing on other games or levels....

It's just for Fun but obviously like everything else that is for Fun there's people that take it too far and even cheat to "win" the imaginative race.

But it's the achievements I like not the Gamerscore, to me it's just an easy way of knowing that your mate or online "buddy" has got further in a game or games.

lol well if im the 1st to 50,000 dnt think i will get that badge, theres not enought time in the day for me, 3 jobs(yes 1 is full time 8-5 cheeky),1 girlfreind to entertain, and self study, theres always enuff time to play heaps, but not enuff for sleep hahah. thats what sundays are for.

Yea i care more about achievements, i would normally just play a game through once on normal or something and never look at it again, but since the achievements came out, its more about the challenge to get them on tottaly fecking insane level lol.

of course the gamerscore is just bonus , buts it nice to have a high as fook one.

As for updating each one on there, it updates within a day of gaining the achievement. If yours hasn't updated, click your name, wait for the Gamercard to load up and refresh the page.

I've really enjoyed it so far. The online is a bit pants but a hell of alot better tha PD0. If you are stuck on a random team the communication is worse than Gears of War.

Well its not exactly broken, it just doesn't work lol, i was playing it, then all of a sudden a message came up saying that the xbox cant read the disc, then i looked at the disc and theres quite a few small scratches on the disc in which my xbox must have done. Yes, well playing it now and its...... very......... not great, and seemingly short, 6 stages in total, just done stange one in under 20 mins. So yeah, its pretty crappy.

Go onto the site, find yourself on the leaderboard and click on your name. It should come up with your gamercard with the right gamerscore. Then just simply refresh the page. Speeds up the updating process somewhat..

I retired from score whoring last night after I got into a huge row with my wife over NHL 2K6 :(

She was helping me get the Penalty Shot achievement and had the audacity to save the first one!!!!

After trying to get a Pen Shot for nearly an hour I threw a few choice words her way, but I score the next attempt and she stormed off to bed.

Result :cool:

I've now got EDF 2017 and BulletWitch to play because they're fun and I've finally got my Guardian License for PSU to venture onlline :)

Fun games, not score whoring for at least the next month or 2

EDIT: I've played Open Season and having never seen the film I enjoyed it too, especially the Mine Cart level and scaring the trappers into the cages :)
