Good event by Barr and Makenshi yesterday. Barr's the soundest guy you could meet, and Makenshi too.
I won six and lost five, and deservedly so. I hadn't played any human opponents and it showed with my outdated formation and sluggish play. I should have at least made the quarter-finals, but my first game was actually the game that decided who would come fourth in our league, and I had lost that game 4-1. Played Barr, and lost 2-1 - I'd say it was even, but he probably deserved it.
Highlight was when a player from some black dude named Ozzie kicked the ball in the quarter finals against oldboiler when he didn't ask him to, and Ozzie exclaimed: "He kicked the ball!", and quick as you like, shouted "But I didn't tell him to kick the ball!".
Stuck around to see if Ayzee and Barr would meet up in the knockout stages, but Barr went out on penalties. So, I strolled off home cursing those awkward and uncomfortable-for-playing-on Xbox 360 pods and nursing a sore shoulder and tired legs. Still, it won't stop from attending the next event as it was worth it. :)
