Xtival - PES 2008 Rules

The Matchbox360 Xtival PES2008 World Cup begins now! Group Stages are given a one week time scale to play. All group stage games must be played by the 1st of December. You are required to play each team once, this is due to it being World Cup format.

Rules:
10 minutes
Condition - Normal
Ball - Something appropriate.
Weather/Stadium - Any
Penalties - No
Extra Time - No
Injuries - Yes

1. You may use any International team, however you must remain as the same team for the duration of the tournament.
2. You will play one game against each player in your group.
3. The host will set up the game and play as the home team.
4. Fixtures are to be arranged in the appropriate fixture threads accordingly.
5. Results for both games are to be reported in the appropriate fixture threads accordingly.
6. Points in the group stage will be awarded as follows:
* Win = 3pts
* Draw = 1pt
* Loss = 0pts
7. It is the responsibility of both players to ensure the results are reported correctly.
8. Both players are to add each other to their friends list accordingly.
9. You must allow 15 minutes after the agreed start time before declaring the fixture as a no show.
10. A 3-0 win will be the default score for any no shows reported.


The top two players with the most points will progress through to the knockout stages. Good luck to all participants, have a great Xtival!

Not really, you don't gain any advantage.

I might have to pull out of this if the deadline is 1st december. Weekends woulda been best time for me and we havent been given a weekend to play. I will PM someone and find out what the scoop is

Well it started yesterday, that's a weekend.. and the 1st of December is a saturday..

Well sorry but im not able to just pounce on forums the second stuff starts so never seen it yesterday :). If we had a bit more notice of when it was going to start i would probably have been able to play my games today (Sunday is the easiest day for me to play games).

Im really sorry to mess things up and throw a spanner in the works but i have a busy schedule and 6 days really isnt enough time for me to complete these games in, im literally busy every day and not in my home city for 2 days of it.

Apologies but theres not much i can do as i cant complete all my games.

RE the weekend thing. We havent had a full weekend to play out games, we just got yesterday (if you can even count that) and today. Im sorry but i never seen this till today and i cant play much during the week.

Apologies again but with this short notice i cannot complete my games.

To be honest, I had forgotten that this was starting yesterday/today, have just come on the forums today and hope still to get all of my games done today.. it is only 3 games after all. I personally cannot quite understand the nature of withdrawing before even trying to get the games played/organised..

I know for a fact that at least one guy from your group has been online today.. That could have been one game played right there..

I personally cannot quite understand the nature of withdrawing before even trying to get the games played/organised..

I know for a fact that at least one guy from your group has been online today.. That could have been one game played right there..

I cant play tomorrow, im busy again.

I cant play on Wednesday, im at work then badminton.

Im away from my city on Thursday and Friday.

So yeah, what is there to understand.

Next Saturday i intend on going out with my friends as i will have been away from the city for a couple of days and working all week. Its the only free day i really have and i dont want to spend it playing PES, sorry. This is why like i said a Sunday would have been the best but this doesent revolve around me, just the notice is a little short for me.

(I am starting to feel that people will be able to track the score of the tottenham game by the tone of my posts. If they manage to get another and take the lead someone may even be in for alot of praise.. :P )
