Im using the original shotgun at the moment and have been since game one. I have other Classes but shotgun does me best.

Grip, Juggernaut and Shoot from the Hip (i think it's called that).

Excactly the same as me, but i haven't got my red dot scope for the M4 yet, i've just been using my M16

M4 red dot scope is the best all round weapon.
When I feel up to sniping though I have the original sniper a lot.
The RPD with just the iron scope and grip is a just a deadly weapon.

I always have the extra damage perk.
I usually have last stand as well seeing that pistols are so powerful when you use them correctly you can take out like 3 guys.

Just tried double tap, it's not that good tbh.
AK 74 is quite a good gun.

M16 With an Acog/Red dot depending on the map.. Use the M4 for the really small ones, but much prefer the M16 - Can't wait till I get my hands on the semi auto assault rifle though..

I don't use the red dot site with the AK (maybe preference) because it's got to much recoil it's more of a mid/close range weapon where you just get body shots.

I'm gonna wait for warfighter and have either a M4/MP5 or a Sniper/RPD combo and see how it works with last stand when I pull out my RPD on the floor and waste everyone.

Myself, i the G3 with silencer, with stopping power,deep impact and special grenades.

if going for close range i use AKS74-u with steady aim, UAV jammer and C4. covers most situations for me having these 2 setups. though ofc i have dedicated sniper and carbine classes :)

Before I went in to Prestige I used M14 with Red Dot scope, Perks - Bomb Squad, Stopping Power and Last Stand.

Now I'm working my way though the Assaut Rifle challenges again, I'm up to AK-47 and use the Red Dot sight, RPG, Stopping Power and Deep Impact.

Waiting to unlock more stuff, claymores and G3 would be nice.

Pretty much working my way through all the weapons and doing all the challenges...but the weapon of choice has to M16, Red Dot, Stopping Power, Deep Impact, Claymore.

MP5 Silenced with Bandolier need it cause im always last one on my team and hardly anyone uses MP5. Stopping power and deep impact last one always comes in handy

It's like a sniper that you can put a red dot on, and you don't have to use your second perk on stoping power, so you can use something like slight of hand which will help alot.
G3 is ok but only realy works effectivley with stopping power, its like a 3 shot kill with no recoil, whereas the m14 has a lil recoil, but i can tame it alright.

I've only been playing online since about last week after getting stuck on Single PLayer Veteran at the Ferris Wheel but I'm using M4 Carbine, Acog Scope (unsure about), Standard Pistol, RPGs the others I think is deep impact and martyrdom.

Although I still need to play around with them for a bit to see whats the best combination.

I have my reasons for the 3 nades.. usually its for when i run up to a room and throw a nade through the window.. 1st two attempts hit the window frame and bounce back.. third usually goes to plan and kills the guy...

Sniper- M40 Red Tiger :D - Claymore - UAV JAMMER / STOPPING POWER - Iron Lungs.
Assault - M16 Blue tiger or Sometime M4 carbine - 3x Frags - UAV JAMMER - Extreme conditioning/ Deep Impact
Heavy gunner - Rpd with Grip < Awsome Combo! > Blue tiger - 3x frag or 2xRPG - STOPPING POWER - Deep Impact

And those three classes are pretty much all i need :D

no u pull out a pistol u cant have a primary weapon in last stand it has to be a pistol

Which is wierd because if you play the game, you should know it doesnt...

the terms of last stand is that if you have a side arm, you can pull it out, but if you have picked up an additional primary or are runing overkill, you just don't go in to last stand.

I use 5 diffrent classes each one suited for diffrent maps. My advice to those looking for the ideal class is that there is no ideal class, you should choose a variety of combinations until you find that suits you.
For now, I use G3 red dot, C4, stopping power and Last Stand/Martyrdom for most of my matches.

Personaly, i prefer the M14 to the G3, but its a matter of opinion and playing style

COD4 doesnt reward you for headshots so I gave up on M14 and G3 ages ago...I only use them to get the XP points for the next stage of prestige mode. Theres simply no point running around using them to be sprayed down by a P90, MP5, M4 or any LMG.

MP5 is a good weapon especially on SnD when its silenced u get places quicker and is still quite accurate

HATE LMGS tho they just shoot u in the knee caps just really annoying

With the overkill perk i have the Battle Rifle & Covenenant carbine. i also have the three special grenades perk which allows me to have 3 bubbles shields (bubble shileds ftw) i have the invisibilty cloak as my 3rd choice perk

Both used heavily on the PC and they are amazing to use in game, its a shame people are stuck in a rut using red dot m4s and p90s.

Without the red dot you scope faster which means you get the advantage against someone using a reddot.
