Super Mario Galaxy!

Only played the first two galaxies so far but well on its way to becoming my game of the year, looks fantastic even upscaled to 1080p as they have done excellent work with the graphics, the sound is also amazing in the game with some memorable melodies, everything about it just feels right, if it keeps this up it may even out do Mario 64!

If anyone has a Wii and for some crazy reason has not picked this up yet do so without hesitation its an instant pick up and play classic.

I can also see some nice puzzles coming into play, the only thing at this stage worth a mention is that I hope the difficulty does get ramped up a bit soon to make it possible to die.

Right back to playing it for now, anyone else got this?

Yep, bought it in on friday and think its absolutely fantastic. I`ve been a nintendo lover for over 20 years and love their games - for me this tops Mario 64. As for game of the year - diificult to state one game as there are so many class games that have been released! Loving it....

Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy means I'll be using my Wii (crazy Japs with their names) again after letting it gather dust after completing Zelda.

I'm hoping to get the new metriod for Xmas. The thing that kept bringing me back to my wii was the VC but the games of late have been crap. Have to say, mario galaxy doesn't really appeal to me.
