What are your top 3 favourite playstation one games? Mine would have to be:
Gran Turismo
GTA2
FIFA '98 Road to World Cup :D

Gran Turismo 2 and GTA: London would be close to the top 3 for me :)

I hated them games gameplay wise, i'm one of those people who tries the turn based style of play but then gets bored. I did play through the first disc of FF9 and it was decent I just couldn't get past a giant spidery type thing on the 2nd disc and eventually gave up. :o

I never actually had the game, but i played the demo of it like 300 times.
Games i played the most, and still play today:
1. Syphon Filter
2. Metal Gear Solid
3. Command & Conquor : Retailiation (sequal to Red Alert)

They all have brilliant replay value.

Yeah, the ship was quite hard to control plus i didn't really have a clue what to do at the time of playing it (like 10 years ago)

Gran Turismo 2 - Me and Liam were amazing at it :D

Hogs of War! I still have it at mine, Jack wants it back :(. I've played that for many a year with Jack, never gets old. Rik Mayall doing voices for it, what could be better?

To be honest i think PS1 had some very inventive games, the variety was huge. There isnt the same kind of varity in todays consoles :S

Is all that truely stands out, then again back in that day I didn't play mature titles. So I haven't tried the MGS series or FFX to this day.

I'm playing through Final Fantasy VII for the first time, and I'm finding it really hard! I've never played an RPG before. After you set the bomb early on I either die getting out or the time limit runs out - navigating is too hard, both with finding your way and controlling movement!

Ha Ha, your being serious, if you cant do that in FF7 then just wow, this is the piss easy bit at the start of the game. FF7 was the first major turn based RPG i played and trust me the start of the game is nothing compared to the rest. As for navigation, it has the simplest controls ever!

Lol Barret is class, he is also one of the most powerful characters in the game at the end so i woud recommend keeping him in there :)

Hes not quite as bada** as Mr T but he comes close :P
