Do we have to D/L them to play in the FFA online tourney?

Also, me & my son (War Is Hell94) will be entering the Halo3 FFA online tourney, just have a query.

1. Will the brackets be Social, Ranked or Custom? (you cant have 2 GT's on the same box in Lone Wolves)

2. Can we both enter on split-screen if we end up in the same bracket & what would happen if we are in seperate brackets, but our matches happen to take place at the same time?

Only the host will need to download the settings and map...obviously it makes sense to download them and practise them youself though!

All MatchBox360 tournaments are always custom games...its the only way to do it.

We'll address the split screen/schedule issue when we draw the group fixtures.

What time on saturday does it start?

Registration for this event will close at 10pm tomorrow evening [22.11.07] with fixtures being posted up shortly after. The competition then starts this Saturday [24.11.07] so keep up to date with this part of the forum guys over the next week (Y).

It will be a 8pm start as i know a few people work Saturdays so it gives them chance to get home and get the BR nice and crispy for the event. Also their are prizes but your have to wait till the fixtures come out before they are confirmed .

Try and get off a bit early? If not i wouldn't worry after this Halo3 event there is already more lined up so you wont have to wait long for the next one :)

Im not moaning about that fact, but for obvious reasons we cant both play at the same time at 8pm tonight, due to us both being on the same XBox.

The game is actually a choice of whatever remains from the 4 Xbox 360 titles we received from Xtival.

Just 1st place will receive the prize of a Samsung MP3 player, Xbox 360 game (tbc) and 2100pts.

No. Obviously only first receives the mp3 player, game and points. Do 2nd and 3rd not get anything then?

Nope. Please remember we are doing this event as part of Xtival and they are providing all the prizes (whioch are limited in quantity). Even with our own events that have been sponsored by Swapgame we have only been able to provide prizes for 1st place. Hopefully we'll soon be able to cover top 3 but until then its first place only.
