MB360 PES6 06/07 Rankings

I had asked for a type of rankings for Matchbox360 months ago; so, one boring Saturday morning later, I've complied all the matches played and documented on this site. The notable exception is the PESrankings National league, which was voided anyway by its being not finished and the fact that the actual content to the event's statistics has been removed off of the site to allow the new design. So, basically the method is 100 points for a win (or more complicated for example: 23 [games won]/28 [games played] x 100 x 28 [games played] - same result), 25 points for a draw, and minus 25 points for a loss. Those placed 1st in a tournament received 300 points; 2nd, 200; 3rd, 100; 4th, 50. The method does seem biased towards me (:p), but if you can think of a better method, apply it to the bare bones statistics and jot down your results.


I've only posted the top twenty players in the rankings, but I've attached a file which has every players' statistics who have participated in the three events.

Yeah, but remember that the three events were all knockout based; so, those that have more games under their belt obviously progressed further in the three events and thus more reward (another reason why entering the results from the league would have been problematic).

Sorry, not trying to pick holes cause I think that youve done a great job with it, and to be honest i think it is pretty representative on the whole. Just letting you know my observations ;)

It's a good point though - having retired from PES6 - you never beat me on it :D

Marko is one of the UK's top Pesrankings players and is one of the faces of PES in the UK.... so putting him in that forum is very relevant as its good for the site that we are attracting players of his quality... however if there was a sub forum for pesrankings discussions (which there will be) it would of went in there..

Creating a thread about player seedings that do not come from Pesrankings events and putting them in the Pesrankings forum is not relevant at all.

As I said... if you can think of a better place to put this thread in.... then by all means suggest it.... but its not going in the Pesrankings forums as it has nothing to do with it.

The Pesrankings Forums are for topics and events only associated with Pesrankings :)

I posted that thread to get some banter, discussion et cetera started for the new season. Of course, Barr2k can't see the forest for the trees, and dwells in the department of trivia because he's lost anywhere else. With minimum fuss, Barr2k could have just moved this to the PES 2008 discussion and simply cited that it's more relevant to that forum. Er, right. Let me refresh your memory: I posted this thread in here to create some discussion; I posted this in here, because I knew I'd get the most responses. If I wanted to post this thread in the PES discussion thread, I would have. You decided that this thread wasn't relevant (it's your forum and you can do whatever you like with it), but went it about it in such a way as to enable you to wave your moderator panel around to make you feel important - all wrapped in condescension:
