Please find below the Rainbow 6 Vegas Champions League rules:
RAINBOW 6 VEGAS - CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 4v4 RULES:
1. The MatchBox360 Rainbow 6 Vegas Champions League 4v4 tournament is sponsored by SwapGame.com (http://www.swapgame.com/)
2. All players must be registered on this site and be resident in the UK or Europe to enter.
3. Any team found fielding non-registered players is in breach of the MatchBox360 rules and will subsequently be disqualified. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure opponents only play with fully registered team mates. As such, please supply evidence (screen shot or game links) to prove any use of illegal players.
4. The tournament will follow a Champions League format with group and knockout stages.
5. Seedings will be calculated from results of previous online tournaments and MatchBox360 XL. Any new teams will not be seeded and fixtures will be drawn at random
accordingly.
6. Teams will play each other once in the group stage. The top 2 teams from each group will progress to the knockout stage.
7. Each team must nominate one player to be team captain. It is the responsibility of the team captain to communicate with other teams and event staff, arrange the
teams fixtures within the timescales provided and report results accordingly. Failure to arrange a match within the given timescale will result in removal from the competition.
8. Substitutes:
- Each team may nominate upto 2 substitute players.
- Substitutes may only be registered to one team taking part in this event.
- Substitutions can only be made in the pre-game lobby and not whilst a game is in progress.
9. The tournament schedule is as follows:
GROUP STAGE: 15th - 30th September
KNOCKOUT STAGE: 1st - 14th October
Players will be awarded points in the group stages as follows:
Win: 3pts
Draw: 1pt
Lose: 0pts
10. All fixtures will be played using the following format:
- All fixtures will consist of a best of 3 game series.
- Each fixture will consist of 1 Conquest, 1 Retrieval and 1 Team Sharpshooter Game.
- All games require that each team play 1 round as the Alpha team and 1 round as the Bravo team. Scores from each round must be added to determine the winner of the
game. If each team has the same game score after 2 rounds, the game is a draw and must be replayed.
- The home team will host games 1 and 3. The away team will host game 2.
- The hosting teams will have first choice of spawn (ie Alpha or Bravo), and the non-host team will have choice of gametype and map.
please note: each map may only be selected once per fixture (ie upto 3 unique maps to be played).
- In the event of a tie in the knockout stage, a deciding game of Team Sharpshooter will determine the outcome of the fixture (using the settings as detailed with away team hosting).
11. All games will be played using the following settings:
All Games:
Game Type = Player Match
Item Restrictions = Shotguns - XM-26 LSS
Item Restrictions = Gadgets - Shield
Item Restrictions = Gadgets - GPS Device
Item Restrictions = Gadgets - Radar Jammer
Max Players = 9
Private Slots = 9
Dedicated Server = No
Allow Voice = Alive Only
Respawns = Yes
Friendly Fire = Yes
Punish Team Killers = No
Auto Kick Team Killers = No
Conquest:
Game Point Limit = 8000
Team Respawn = No
Retrieval:
Round Duration = 10 Minutes Each
Team Respawn = No
Team Sharpshooter:
Round Duration = 10 Minutes Each
Team Respawn = Yes
Please note: It is the responsibility of both teams to ensure the game settings are correct, and by playing in and completing the game you accept the game settings
set by the host player.
12. Lag tests:
- All matches must start with a 3 minute "lag test".
- All players must stay within their respective spawns and check for any signs of lag (shooting at the wall and a delay in decals appearing is a clear sign).<br />
- In the event of a lag test failing (ie multiple players reporting lag) then an alternative server should be sought.
- If no alternative server is found from players on either side, then the match shall be postponed and a neutral host from MatchBox360 will provide a dedicated server
to host the match. Please post details on the forum immediately should this situation arise.
- If a player leaves or is disconnected from a game prior to any kills then the game is void and must be restarted.
- If a player leaves or is disconnected from a game after kills have been made, then the round must be completed. The player must stay off of the server until the
round has ended and await an invite back to the game.
13. The team drawn as the home team must set up the game using the settings above, then invite the other team captain to join and select the map as chosen by the away
team captain.
(please ensure you have sufficient room on your friends list to add / receive friend requests from your opponent).
14. If as the home team, there is no response from your opponent for upto 15 minutes after the scheduled start time then the game will be declared a "no show", and the
home player will receive a default win and progress to the next round.
15. If as the away team, you do not receive a friend request or game invite by the scheduled start time then you must firstly add your opponent to your friends list,
and if after 15 minutes there has been no response then the game will declared a "no show". The away team will receive a default win and progress to the next round.
16. The losing team must report the result in the appropriate results thread in the Rainbow 6 Vegas - Team Survival 4v4 forum.
Obviously, if there was a "no show" then the winner by default must report the game details in the forum asap.
Please be aware that it is every players responsibility to ensure the result is reported correctly.
If you have any issues with the reported result you must contact an MatchBox360 representative immediately.
17. Any performance of known glitches in the game will be classed as cheating. If you suspect a team to have used glitches, cheats or abusive behaviour, you must
provide sufficient evidence of reasonable quality and the appropriate action will be taken. 18. Full fixture details & results will be made available online as soon as the results are posted in the forums.
19. Each player of the winning team will receive a game of their choice plus a 1 month subscription to SwapGame.com (http://www.swapgame.com/).
please note: unfortunately prizes are not available for players outside of the UK.
