If anyone has a PS3 still, make a Japanese account and go and download this now, graphically it makes any other car game inferior and has been the first car game after Forza (1) to grab my attention again, if this is anything to go by then the full version GT5 will be nothing short of a driving masterpiece.

Alot of people will complain about the lack of a true damage model and perhaps the collisions but they are only to minor remarks to what is shaping up to be one hell of a game.

I completely went off GT5 when I found out they weren't going to be using damage. Not gonna buy it now. Also annoying is the backgrounds being pictures, and not rendered real-time. It covers up a lot.

I went off of GT5 as soon as I heard there is going to be no online play element.

Car racing without playing your friends online whats the point?

I would say now that I only buy games that i can play online now. (But that's XBOX live for you).

Yeah, it's 16 player online. Downloaded the demo the other day, and whilst amazed by the graphics and the new car AI, I'm gutted that there's no damage. Not even something superficial, PGR-style.
