It would of been nice to have a community doing all the nominations but the truth is the forums are as dead as they have ever been and to squeeze 50 nominations out of the community would of been impossible.

It was decided on the staff boards by the staff that wanted this to run that we did the nominations and let the public then vote.

Even thinking about was there an MB awards last year while on Vanilla i thought it was the year before MB did them?

Jesus Christ, it's just for a laugh. Harris, does it really matter if the nominations are spot on or not? It's just a bit of fun. Whether it was razzed up in 5 or not doesn't really matter, it's only a laugh and doesn't mean a single thing. I'm nominated in some, really don't care if I win or lose - same as I wouldn't have been assed if I was in none, it's only there for a bit of banter and light-heartedness. Out of over 300 active members, only 21 have voted in this thread. So a community voted nominations system would have fallen flat on it's face. Get over it, it's just a laugh. Not everything has to be the pinnacle of seriousness.

Was sorely tempted to vote for myself but that would just be wrong not to mention the fact that it would also be very sad. It was a close call for me, it was between the Geordie and the Jock(Mofo) but given that George is on 3 and Mofo openly admitted he's been around a while therefore he's not really a newcomer it has to be............another vote for the Toon!!! :)
