Quarter Final Fixtures and Results [Archive]

The Matchbox360 Pes6 World Cup (Sponsored by SwapGame.Com) continues with the Quarter Final stage! Quarter Final fixtures are to be played by Saturday 13th of October.
It is only one leg, and games are now 15 minutes long.

Rules:
15 minutes
Condition - Normal
Ball - Something appropriate.
Weather/Stadium - Any
Penalties - Yes
Extra Time - Yes
Injuries - Yes

It is the responsibility of both players to arrange games and make sure games are played with the correct rules. Either player may report the results but any false/fake results reported that are found out will result in banning from any Matchbox360 PES events in future. Results are to be reported in the appropriate threads.

Cool - Leigh, I'm on pretty much every day for a few hours before 5pm, and then after 10pm most nights.

Whoever loses - kHz wins.

My brother still doesn't have his internet yet, and Sky have told him ''within the next 10 days'' so we may have to delay your fixture. But he may be on sooner than expected.

Lol, I've never seen Saudi perform so bad! In all fairness he had more shots on goal, and generally more chances, but only about 2 goals were truely deserved. 1st goal, 1st minute, my keeper fumbles, then kicks it at his own player, then they both fall over giving Dan an easy finish lol. I knew it was game over from there.

Good game anyway, deserved the win. But I never want to hear you complain about Finland again, they're beastly, just slow.

Yep, cheers for the game. scored some dodgy goals, but its not how you score them ts scoring them that counts lol

Which fixture will I face the winner of? or haven't you decided yet?

I have no ready-access to a connection at the moment other than net cafes. I may be getting something sorted this week, but if worst comes to worst, I'll head down to the Omega Sektor.

I wouldn't say I was the pick to win considering I only scraped through the group stages on goal difference (only by one goal aswell) and although a 5-0 win over Gaskin may look good (very good), if he had a team that could fight of a tackle the result may have been different.

And if I go out I'll be happy with my sick goal difference with 24 goals scored in eight games and only 4 conceded in the group stages.

good game altho drogba missed a hat-trick of sitters... he also got a man sent off late on in the second half...

no1 thot i wudve made it out of the group stage but here i am in the semis :p:D:rolleyes:

If there that crap play someone else instead of them, at least you have decent subs to bring on if all else fails. If forsell gets injured for me (which he always does), I have to rely on the next striker with shooting stats on par with my defenders.

I am quite disappointed with the game to be honest, Drogba is the Adriano of the sh1te teams and is impossible to shove off the ball. There were two dodgy goals as well - one rebound off the keeper and one cut back. But he still deserved the win. gg

Very sorry Hursti, I got some wrong info from the Omega Sektor, and it looks like I'll have to bring my own Xbox 360. I'll definitely be able to play Thursday at 11, 12 or any time after 11pm.

Began a very close game. I went 1 down, only to get 2-1 up. Then, thinking I'd done enough, conceded in injury time. Then it all went downhill from there. Great game.

It was a great game. You absolutely dominated the first-half, and had ten shots to my one, but I think I deserved one goal from my second-half performance, and another for my Extra-time performance. I'd say you deserved to be 3-1 up by half-time. I think I just edged it in extra-time, but up until then, you dominated one half and me, the other.

Great game, I got 1-0 when Leigh's defense completely lost their markers, followed by being pegged back close to half time with a sweeping Korean move that saw their unmarked striker slot into an open net. More defensive shenanigans followed from Korea (Leigh not quite mastering the online timing lol) and Hungary went 3-1 up with two quick goals, only to have the lead reduced after 75 minutes after a Korean finish from an absolutely staggering angle. It was a tense last 15 minutes, with the Hungarian goalkeeper playing tremendously, and Hungary nearly benefiting a disaster header from a Korean defender that nearly spun into his own goal.

Really fun game, always a joy to play against Leigh. Thanks for the game.

Yep, can confrim that the result is true.

Had a bit of a mare really. Havnt played pes online for an absolute age and it definitely showed. Missed alot of key challenges due to the split second slower timing, and really struggled with the online element throughout. Some practise wouldnt have gone a miss really lol.

Great game though, still have no idea how I scored that second goal lol. Had fun and maybe I can up my performance in the up and coming (I guess) pes2008 tournament.

Good luck Renegade. Have faith that Hungary can take you all the way lol

Haha yeah right! Honestly it always feels like a fluke when I win with Hungary. But hey, a 2nd place in the last tourney and a top 4 in this one, can't complain too much!
