I would like a knock-out cup , with club teams - champ league FTW :D

At LAN events, a 2v2. IMO that would be awesome, much more tactical play and much more interesting to have to rely on the other person playing well - forces team work and much improves inter-clan play.

I've never seen the attraction in 2v2 in a football game tbh. I've had nunerous requests for it to be done at XL. Anyone care to ellaborate a little?

2 vs 2 is actaully alot more fun imo :)

But Rankings does not cater for doubles events I am afraid :)

You tend to find that games become more unique as players can really develop their style more when played with a partner.

Its no different to the mentality of an fps.. people play in teams and work and use team based tactics to win.

In my experience, doubles events seem to be more fun and full of banter....

Problem it space around pods etc for more than two players etc :)

Can't the Pods be System Linked, so two players can be on different Pods? Or can't PES6 do that? I've never tried.

To me, the banter and the tactics are so much more evident when it's a 2v2. One player can specifically concentrate on marking the man in space when defending, or timing his run perfectly for a through ball when attacking. The options for attacking are much greater, as you're not relying on the computers pre-defined movement, your second player can make the moves, and you can slot the ball through. It's sort of hard to explain, but two players together that can't work as a team will get destroyed - but two players that are experienced and work well together can be nearly impossible to break down.

I agree with everything you say and I prefer 2 vs 2
