Is now up on the marketplace, go have a nose.

Quote (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=83444):

SEGA has released a demo of SEGA Rally for Xbox 360 owners, weighing in at 691.82MB and available everywhere except Japan.
The demo consists of a pair of quick-race tracks - one from the dusty Canyon environment and one from the sandy and, er, woody Tropical one.

You can drive around them using the Mitsubishi Evo IX FQ3 and Subaru Impreza STi Spec C type RA to get a feel for the game's dynamic track surfaces and handling.
If you like it, you'll be able to pick it up on 360, PS3, PC or PSP on 28th September. Watch out for our review in the surprisingly near future!

Thoughts?

What a waste of bandwidth that was.

The physics are crap, the cars float over the surface, the handling is just stupid, the graphics are quite good and the mud effect is excellent, the track damage looks good, doesn't seem to affect the handling though.

All in all if you enjoyed V-Rally you'll probably enjoy this, if Colin McRae is your bag then it's 50:50, if its Richard Burns Rally then you wont enjoy Sega Rally

I thought the graphics were really good, especially the mud splashing, but the handling leaves a lot to be desired.

I cant remember if the original Sega Rally had stages, or it was all just Arcade style rallycross.

If it is just rallycross, then I'll avoid it. But if there is gonna be stages then I might buy it if I see it in the bargain bin at a game shop if its about 10-15 quid, but it's definately not worth 40 spondoulies.

But as a Die-hard Colin Mcrae/Rallying fan, its not a bad attempt by Sega.

Sega Rally, don't waste the bandwith, graphics weren't bad but lets be honest most of the 360 games aren't exactly crap in the modern era..........bring back the ZX81!!!
Handling was shocking, DIRT is ten times the game and then some.
Sorry not impressed :(
