I remember making a thread AGES ago saying what a good idea Clan support would be on the dashboard. As per usual, I was right.

Wow actually half decent, xvid support too, thats a massive imporvement, I will actually be able to use my 360 to play video files from my hdd now, clan support shoul of been there from the start but at least they got there in the end!!

I'm surpised that no-one has noticed:

New advertising opportunities in gameplay.
Smarter game settings - you can be messaged via publishers about new in-game content for your games.The first one in particular sounds dubious and suspiciously vague, however as long everything is optional then I have no problems with the update.

The ?40 a year is slowly becoming more justified a year for me.

The screenshots are old, the list of features is a slightly modified version of what was suspected last fall and in the spring as well.

Until it's sat on your 360 or announced by MS I have my doubts.

I've just been logged out of live and I'm currently downloading a console update.

It's not the fall update, its just an update preparing your console for a big buttoned controller thing (don't know what the hell it is)
