I think the reason people are getting banned isn't for the COD 4 beta as they are saying, its for the Halo 3 epsilon beta which has been passed around a bit. 24 hours after you download it you get banned. But i think it's down now.

It's Live thats busted, the maintenance has mucked up NAT settings for a lot of people, mine included, theres a thread over at xbox.com already and speaking to folk on my friends list they are having the same problem with all their games :(

Mines been sat in my mailbox for a couple of days, just decided I may as well download it now. This being because everyone is now getting it, ie friends to play with.

Had a blast on the small team playlist (can't remember off the top of my head..) and was impressed, a lot more fun than playing TD. It does highlight the issue of host advantage too though, on the games I was hosting, I was unstoppable, easily getting +15 k/ds per game, and then later on when we started playing on american hosts, the quality just dropped unbelievably - you'd walk up to someone and slap a knife in their face, and they'd just turn round and gun you down.. Even the kill cam showed you as being somewhere completely different from where you where when you killed them .

As such, looking for more small teams for neyo, Cormac & myself to play with.. F/R me (Rain 501) if you're up for it...

Yeah I was playing last night after you left Jay, I was fine til the early hours and then I was clearly getting utterly skanked by US host. Stats took a major hit because of that too! Pssha I started to leave games if my connection bar was clearly lower than most people. Probably counts as a loss, but I'd rather do that then get my ass handed to, without an option to fight back. I said on another forum though, having Kill Cam makes it interesting, you know how you saw the action, but now you can evaluate the lag. You can see what your opponent saw, and more often than now, I could see that according to them, I just ran at them and barely shot! UK host all the way, jesus.

Cormac was still moaning about it after you left mate, I don't think he's a fan, but he was getting his ass handed to him before he left, and I was kicked the proverbial, so... Don't think you'll be able to convince him otherwise, I guess he'll be juicing arcade games for a few weeks...

I've been working my way through the weapon challenges...just need to finish off the AK47 for assault rifles. Didnt realise how inaccurate that weapon was until I switched back from the M16 last the other night though.

I'm the subject of kill cam and weapons...I'm sick of being sprayed by n00bs with machine guns and the arseholes running around with shotguns. Shoot me in the head ffs! :mad:

Haha, cheeky git! I just shoot when there's actually a target! I was cracking up last night, watching Cormac in Vacant, I think he was playing with a SAW or something, and we were down a corridor. He was spraying like a mofo, it was ridiculous, can't remember if he got a kill doing it, but it was DAMN funny.

It's good, I like it. I'm either very good at it, or it's very easy lol. I believe the latter! Level 16 within about 2 hours.. is it meant to be that easy to level? Hopefully they'll add some more levels for us to mount to. :)

Well just been playing with Neyo, Kon, Tempus, Napalm etc. I think we lost like 1 game out of lots, me and Kon destroying, both getting a 22 killing streak which was our best of the night. This game really is awesome, although I still stick to the fact that Halo 3 will be better. :)

It's not that hard, my friends brother (aged 13) was ranked 320th on the accuracy leaderboard, and no he doesn't use the sniper all the time.... hardly used it tbh :p

Mines playing up now as well. It's only started tonight and I've downloaded the Tony Harks Demo, but that was after the COD 4 Beta download and I've been playing both since downloading both.

It's most likely a problem their end.

Mine worked fine until I downloaded the Tony Hawks demo at which point my beta wouldn't work at all.
After playing Tony Hawks and realising it was complete ****e I deleted and went back onto COD4 and it worked fine.
