DVD to video ZEN

Doesnt matter if you own the DVD its still illegal in the UK. So is copying a CD to your MP3 player... lol

You gotta convert them to a format the zen will read. Best one ive found is Xvid or DivX.

What i tend to do, is use a nice lil programme called DVD shrink, to trim off all the unwanted ****, like other languages, title screens and extra's. Then open Magic DVD ripper, select the folder where ive just sent the shrinked DVD, anf then it converts it.

My PC is new, and quite fast, so it dont take too long, 30mins max for 2 hours of video. But before i got my new PC, i tried it on my old one and it was slow as ****, could of took bout 3 hours to complete. Make sure your comp is up to the task, or you could be sitting around for hours.

I think magic DVD ripper lets you trim some of the **** off (if you Rip and convert in one go). Just DL the trial, and test it out, its really easy to use.

now i have a bigger problem, my dvd drives picks up data dvds. but wont read or even detect there is a dvd movie disc in the drive, anyone got a fix for that?
