Just watched the final episode of 'The Sopranos'.

Great ending.

Un-cliche and I'm glad they didn't make Tony pay for all his "sins" like most moral gangster films

I don't think there can any doubt that it was the greatest TV series ever, and will ever be, but I'd go further and call it one of the greatest piece of film in the medium.

Pity Nancy Marchand died before she finished her role; that Buscemi only did one series, and that Chase virtually killed off the character of Junior. Other than that, greatest ever.

i like sopranos, didn't really watch it week in week out, but when i did catch it on the odd ocasion, it was very good.

Choice of music is top notch. It's not surprising with David Chase and Steve Van Zandt involved.

My favourite ironic music was when Vito (a homosexual) was driving drunk with 'My Way' being played..."I took the blows..."

Ahaha.

or when Ralphie is getting dildoed up the ass by Tony's sister and his phone rings with the Rocky theme tune.

Never seen Sopranos - might give the boxset a bit of torrenting.

Well the thing is that the producers never wanted to finish this series and that it was down to Gandolfini not budging on extra pay rise.

I did like seein phil get killed, much better than having it built up, just have him whacked :D.

*still prays for extra seasons*
