Ok folks, I realise alot of people have been having issues registering full teams for the events. I've seen the error of my ways, and now you can create your team, and add people/remove people/withdraw the whole team as you need to now.
How to register a team:
Go the the event's portal page, and click the 'Click here to register for this event' link.
This will take you to a page to name your team. Type the name in the box, and click the '>' to move to the next page.
You will automatically be registered as the team leader, you will now need to register the rest of your team. To do this, type your player's gamertag into the text box. This automatically search our database for the gamertag, any tags found will show up as green links. Click on the link to add this player to your team. Continue until your team is fully registered
Some events allow you to register substitutes, once you get passed the required number of players, it will carry on asking for the Sub's gamertags. If you are not fielding any subs, then just navigate away from the page.
If some members of your team have yet to register with us, or you are waiting for a confirmation, you can leave the registration process at any time. To edit your team at a later date, click the 'Current Registrations' link on the event portal page, find your team and click the edit button.
You can also withdraw your team from the competition by clicking the 'Withdraw' link on the 'Current Registrations' page.

EDIT: Oh, and I'll be removing any duplicate or incomplete teams that were created before this update. So please if you want to compete make sure you have registered. The 'Current Registrations' page serves to let you know who exactly is registered to compete in a competition.
