kind of something that popped into my head, here you can show pictures of your car you want to sell, give details and price, and when someone wants to buy it you could arrange a time to put it on the auctions house for a buy-out, or you can swap cars, using "Gift Car", if you trust the person hehe:D.

Sounds a good idea to me, although I dont ever use the auction house.. I have only ever used it to buy a saleen s7 since I am not yet level 48 to unlock it. And also put one stock car up for sale which was a prize car during career, just to test the waters. Bought the saleen for about 300,000 but didnt sell the prize car at all.

Is anyone here a real avid user of the auction house? I guess the real point of it is to sell cars with good paintjobs? Since I havnt even entered the paint editor yet, that would explain why I havnt used the auction house I guess ;)

hehehe, ive tried out the Auction House to sell my simpsons car, didn't sell,
will try to get a good picture of it later, its a Vauxall Astra VXR (i think)

I just got familiarised with the Auction House today, and bought an R4-class Porsche for 16 grand. This purchase alone makes the Auction House the best mode in any game, ever.

hehe, i wouldnt buy stuff in the auction house, id rather take on the challenge and get the car in career mode, but i would sell in the auction house ;)

I learned my lesson to never use the AH again when a fully upgraded Honda S2000 with a not too bad paint job wouldn't sell for 30,000. That's a lot less than a standard S2000, with no upgrades or paint job.

I've sold so many cars on the marketplace. I put my designs suchs as Kenny, Man Utd and Simpsons on Minis and sell them for around 75k. Nowadays i only get around 25k but still a profit of 20 thousand everytime.

HeRo - i put my simpsons Vauxhall VXR up on the auction house, but noone even bidded 15,000, i think its a little unfair they dont get to orbit view your car...
got any hints or tips on selling designed cas?

The can orbit the car, bring up the info screen on the car and use the right stick.

Colbzz - if you want a designed car to sell, it needs to be unlocked. People stopped buying locked cars after a few days, as it's pointless - you can't re-use the design. Obviously people might sell on your design, so if you have an amzing design it's best just to keep it to yourself or advertise it on Forzamotorsport.net or Xbox.com first.

Sub, but when i do, i can only go around it, not on top, maybe i should put homer on the sides instead
