Further to ongoing talks with trading standards, the BBFC and the NEC for the last 9 months, I am pleased to confirm that anyone aged 15 years or older will be able to play and view Gears of War at MatchBox360 XL on 4-5th August at the NEC Toute Suite.
Obviously this is a sensitive subject and in accordance with all parties concerned, MatchBox360 XL will abide by the following conditions:
Gears of War will only be played in the 2 meeting rooms at the back of the Toute Suite.
The explicit content will turned off at all times.
Under 15's will not be allowed access to this area at any time.
MatchBox360 XL staff will be monitoring access to both these rooms and if you are appear to be under the age of 15 and fail to provide proof of age when requested then you will be declined access to the Gears of War arenas.
MatchBox360 XL would appreciate all players to co-operate with these restrictions accordingly, and we look forward to providing you with the best Gears of War tournament in the UK.
please note: all players under the age of 15 are advised not to purchase entry for the Gears of War tournament. If you purchase a ticket for entry to the Gears of War tournament in full knowledge that you are or appear to be under the age of 15, and cannot or refuse to provide proof of age when requested then you will not be allowed to participate and you will not receive a refund. Thankyou for your co-operation.
