I think the main reason you're having so many problems with people dropping out is because they all signed up over 2 months ago!

I'm not holding my breath though. If these guys don't respond do my limited worm skills get a bye?

I know, nobody was willing to take the comp on to be honest. But I thought I'd do it considering I was free from all my coursework and my exams finish this week. If they're seen not to respond nor try and contact you in anyway on the day then yes you'd receive a bye through to the next round. But hopefully it won't be the case and you can play another night. Although I've been told to expect quite a few no-shows, wouldn't be surprised if the round 1 was just byes! I'm considering having a 3 day space of time where your game is to be played for round 2.
