Just wondering if we have like 6 or 7 players from a team going are u able to join up with others goin to tourny on day to complete teams to have 4s.

If you are suggesting turning up on the day and organizing a team then..........That's fine but be warned without pre-booking with a team you could face disappointment.

yea np ive already prebooked with a team i just havent been able to get a whole 2 teams as i think we have a 4 and a 2 or 3 maybe

If there are spaces available on the day then we will offer the opportunity for additional teams to register...if the 32 team limit is reached before the event then theres no chance. I would advise using the 8 weeks or so before the event in gettin solid teams organised.

edit: I know that kHz are taking 2 teams (havent prebooked yet) but they need a player for each team (ie they need 2 players). All I can say is that these 2 players need to be very good GoW players as kHz are in with a very good chance of winning GoW at XL. ;)

My money would be on my NL team, as they have won every LAN they been to and haave had alot more experience on LAN than most peeps. But we're not going to XL to be big headed assholes convinced we're going to win, we want some competition and relish the prospect of playing others at a similar skill (or supposedly better :rolleyes:) once again. If we lose, we lose. I don't remember ever stating we were going to win it, but I believe we have the potential IF

He stated 'one of the best' therefore giving credit to any number of teams near the top of the game. Fact is, kHz are defending champions and take it extremely professionally - whether the best teams were at XL1 is irrelevant, kHz beat what was infront of them.

He also didn't confirm they are one of the best - he stated 'surely we are' as if to get confirmation from someone else. Which shows more modesty again. Someone cannot be blamed for being part of one of the best teams, and I would rather someone knew about it than walked about going 'we suck, we are gonna lose' then proceed to win and give that false modesty crap.

A team could practice playing clan matches on XBL all day everyday for months and they could still be knocked out of XL at a early stage. LAN and XBL are totally different usually the team with the most LAN experience and the most XBL practice win, on a LAN anything can happen.
