Just to let you know the release date is now set as Feb 23rd.
I have been playing this none stop for the last 4 days now as i have the American version and right now i definately think that although the story is far from the best FF ever, the gameplay and the direction they are taking the game in is excellent.
The best thing about the new game is the customisation, anyone can wield any type of weapon which are bows,swords, samurai swords, ninja swords, guns, greatswords, bows, maces, staffs and some more.
The only part where i really would like to see customisation taken that step further is the actual change in appearance of character when it comes to armour similar to ffXI in which the boots, legs, body, head and gloves all change appearnace, where in this one it is limited to weapon and shield.
Anyhow thats all i have time to write for now, but on a final note if you like Final Fntasy games, definately pick it up! Even those of you who like games such as KOTOR as well as the turn based system has evolved into more so an action RPG than which was a bold move but it pulls it off perfectly.
