can i still compete with a changed gamertag?

my gamertag has changed and i dont know whether or not i can still compete, because i've been told by my clan leader that my username has to match my gamertag to compete. ive changed my gamertag in my profile, but is that enough to still compete. if not i was wondering if i could get my username changed.

Yeah thats fine mate. Your username doesnt need to be the same as your GT at all, and when you update your profile it will automatically update on the registration portal so there shouldnt be any problems. :cool:

aint good enuff 2 enter a team but going 2 be brilliant watching the pros.. i mite actually get 2 see the players work as a team unlike on live where they run after the boom or sniper then try doin a rambo reinactment
