MATCHBOX360 XL PREBOOKING:
Further to the overwhelming success of our first MatchBox360 XL event in November with approx 300 gamers in attendance, we are now accepting prebookings due to limited spaces available in the tournaments. By prebooking you will receive priority over entry and places in the tournaments. Once you have completed your prebooking, you will be contacted as soon as tickets are available for purchase in the MatchBox360 XL online ticket office.

We are aware that the majority of teams attending have not yet registered complete squads and a number of confirmed teams have not completed the prebooking process at all. As such, the number of players expected to attend obviously exceeds the number of players currently prebooked. MatchBox360 XL would like to advise that you or your team mates complete the prebooking form asap to avoid disappointment.

As it stands, if he is 15 by the time of the event then it will be fine. You dont have to be 15 to come to XL...just to be able to play or view GoW. As it states on the announcement, the age restrictions are subject to change so I will keep you all updated. :cool:

edit: yeah your GT is fine mate...just make sure you enter the correct details (GT and team name) when you come to pay for your tickets online as that is what all your fixtures will refer to in the tournaments.

Just wondering Kon. Now that there is over 300 people prebooked what is going to happen if everyone pays in advance for there entry. I though the Toute Suite only held 300 people?

We do have a maximum capacity of approx 300 gamers so its quite simply...first come, first serve.

Last time we took over 400 prebookings with approx 300 purchasing tickets...so thats about 75%. Taking into consideration that there are still a lot of incomplete teams prebooked and players that we know havent completed the form (including approx 15 staff), then its fair to say that we are very close to maximum capacity.

We may be able to squeeze a few more in, but once the 300 tickets have gone then they're gone. The same applies to places in the tournaments so I can only advise that you purchase your tickets and tournament fees as soon as the ticket office opens to avoid disappointment. As much as I would like to...registration limits will NOT be increased for tournaments.

Again there has been very little promotion for this event so far and we are looking to provide a bigger venue for future events...even though we'll still probably use the Toute Suite from time to time cos its an absolutely superb venue for XL :cool:

I'm about to book my ticket to take place at this event, but.. I've got a few questions about the payment etc. since I rather not book a planeticket when I'm not able to purchase the tickets.

As you may know I need to Pre-Order a planeticket for a certain date (Which is 3rd of August for me) If I purchase this ticket, it would basicly mean that I need to have the event ticket (which I pre-booked) already.. All you need to do is simply add the admission ticket and any tournament entry fees you require to the shopping basket then proceed to checkout.

I've been asked a few times about this, so I would also like to confirm that you can always purchase further entry fees or admission tickets at a later date (ie you can buy your admission ticket and FFA entry, then come back in a few days and buy a 4v4 ticket or PES6).
