if you go into the customs menu, and select choose maps, there is an option for the last 25 maps played, could this indicate towards a map editor? or will there be more than 25 maps we have to learn?

So itd be like

etc

Not 25 different maps.

Possible Evidence of a Map Editor, as the title isn't very clear to what the discussion is about. Also could you change my Name from BIG D 04 to Picky*******003. :p

Anyway I think Simm0ns is right, I think it's simply a way of keeping track of what you have played.

I'm not sure how a Custom Map Editor would work, I know they did it on Far Cry was it any good? Anyway I don't expect them to do one, but then again there is one on Halo 2 for Vista so maybe so.

I think we might have to wait a little longer before we know exactly what is in or out.

What is achieved by listing a map more than once?
You can only select one. It's redundancy.

But to have 25 unique entries means 25+ unique maps.
This is a lot. Too many, probably.

But I'm not convinced this hints at an option to create our own maps.
Remember, you shouldn't even be seeing this screen.
You cannot draw conclusions about the final game from this.

When Bungie is internally testing this game, they probably have a number of different versions of each map in any given build.
Snowbound v1.23, Snowbound v22.15, Snowbound v5.1 . . . you get the picture.

So that would add up to quite a few. But we will not see them all!
This "show last 25" could be changed to "show last 5" before we get it.

(Now, if it were to list most recent map and game type together, you have many different combinations, so sure, maybe there is a use for this there.

Personally I prefer some variety. The maps I have just played would be last choice for what I play next!)
