Since the update I haven't found one match where I don't skit across the map like road runner. Scrolling through the lists of 'host' servers I find not one unred connection in the first few lists. Theres always one dam tard who has to bring down the ping with his lesser connection and make the game almost unplayable for everyone else in the room. I can stomache the pulling apart of ranked matches with the belief that the 'host' in the name of a server means one day we will see a 'dedicated' or 'match making' server too but not this. Until then this game is just unplayable against yanks.

What do you think? does the 'host' mean anything? is the lag for you as bad as i'm finding it?

In a word, yes. Yes it has.

In game has become very unstable with frequent connection problems and my resolution has been changed and I am not happy about it.

You mean changing pal 50 to 60? that annoyed the hell out of me, my TV can barely handle it.

No, no. The resolution I am playing in was decreased - I'm not sure what it was running at before but everything has been shrunk down....

The lag hasnt got worse, but you ribght in saying that the number of green ping games has significantly decreased. There is a reason for this though. Green ping signifies a game that has been set up by a UK/European host and so will have perfect connection, Yellow ping is one that has been set up by an American host, but is usually just as playable as the green ping game, it just makes you aware that the host is american so you will most likely be at a slight disadvantage when playing, and the red ping is generally a laggy game, although on some occasions is perfectly fine.

Concerning lag in games though i have not experienced any more than before, which basically means that very rarely in fact do i ever have a game with any lag at all, i tend to pay attention to the pings though.

we had one game where the lag was shockingly bad on one round, it was realy take out your shotgun and hope you got a hit, even tho you was clearly shooting the guy, it realy turned into a long battle, just everyone shoting the crap out of each other.

i think it might just be because more people with bad connections are hosting.
