Seriously, some better hosting rules should be thought of, playing on a dual host <500kbps upload is disgraceful. Hopefully Shystie can release the videos to show us in constant red bar in the first game.

Is there not a way to sort the host out so that the best connection gets it? It really would be fairer IMO.

I understand that it is fair how it is being done atm, but that is only if the chosen host has a decent connection. Some of the games we played last night were incredibly laggy, and in a competition environment, it get incredibly frustrating. :)

Just an idea. I know this is the first event of it's kind for MB, but that is my personal oppinion.

# Teams seeded at the XL event will be given host over unseeded teams. Teams competing who did not attend XL will be given host randomly with the teams drawn first being given host.

# The player with the highest upload speed on each team should host their respective games.

# If the game is unplayable due to extreme lag or latency issues, then the game may be replayed if all players agree.

I'm sure that neutral host will be provided for the final, and quite possibly for the semi-finals aswell. If neitral host could be provided for all games it would, unfortunatly we just don't have the man-power.
