Halo 2 - coming to XP
Wow, here's some interesting news... Falling Leaf Systems has announced that they will be providing compatibility software that will allow Halo 2, an exclusive Vista title, to run on Windows XP. If you order Halo 2 through their site, you'll get the compatibility libraries FREE when they're released (current estimate is July). Not sure how they plan to make any money... but this seems like a pretty cool thing for folks who'd love to play Halo 2, but can't justify the shift to Vista right now. (Louis Wu 14:25:33 UTC)

I suppose they plan to make money on it by stealing all the competition, lol, as it's only Free if you order it with them.

Anyway this is a good thing in my view as to have it Vista only is slightly retarded, as although I do have it it doesn't mean you should try and force it on others.

tbh if it was still vista only, - their would be a patch out, made by someone to allow xp play

It will most likely be unable to play online, due to the fact that the vista version will be for the xbox live pc thing, unless theres other ways to play online with the vista version, like gamespy etc

I assume you will be able to (maybe not out of the Box) but I assume some one will make it compatible with other Servers
