Do The new ps2 games work ?

Do new ps2 games like god of war 2, okami, tomb raider anniv etc work on the ps3 ???

I thought the PS3 would play all existing Playstation games?

No Spin it doesnt mate,If you have a Japanese import machine for some reason the conversion software works better(go figure).I would have thought that most of the newly released stuff should work (however EA cricket07 does not).I would still ask in the shop though, before parting with your cash.I dont know if sony have put a list together like microsoft have for the 360,if they have not then they should.

They were meant to be running emulation on hardware...
